Queen Anne's Lace. She and I go back a long time, A wedding that was a DIY, and everyone was part of it. Did I say we were in college, but, very legal, able to get married without permission. Not me, but someone near and dear to me, when she was in her rebellious stage of life. I was in charge of the flowers, from where I could find them, cut from drainage ditches downtown and wild running roses, cut from where they were naturally growing down a country road, along with a few snapdragons and ferns. Those wild things were arranged in various places and a candelabra. Every time I see Queen Anne's Lace, it takes me back to that day, as I drove around in my little fastback car with five-gallon buckets half-filled with water in which to put my freshly cut flowers. Best wedding ever. However, I think the Queen Annes lace lasted longer than their married bliss.
So unique is she, that life will be simultaneous ranges of staging, budding, blooming, and flowering, punctuated only for making new seeds. Queen Anne is quite the lady.
We know what we are, but know not what we may be - William Shakespeare
Sometimes something can be so simple that the profound beauty of it takes you by surprise. These were almost hidden between the blades of grass, their tiny, delicate fragrence giving them away. Alas, the mere sight of them takes me away to a differnt place.
Oh, say can you see? A spot of sun and shine to fill up the day.Can one conceive of any reason for a flower's beauty except our ability to enjoy their exquisite splendor? It has been a few days away, but, I finally made my way back home. Happy Tuesday! Tell me what YOU have been doing! You were missed!
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
Who doesn't love the weaving or daisies, threaded together in a chain? Thank you so much for visiting! And just like that, this post is over! Come back tomorrow and we will do it again!
The Naming of Cats
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

Thank you so much. Good night from here!
Flowers bring so many memories that stay with us a life time. I am not familiar with Queen Anne's Lace, but i must say it looks quite amazing.
It is actually in the carrot family! :)) It is in season right now, blooming all over the fields and in the ditches that are filled with water. :) Or not.
I pulled this off the internet for you:
I still love this weed! :)
Queen annes lace is sucvh a pretty flower and cool the memory it triggers for you :)
Truth! It is funny how certain things trigger a memory, isn't it? The one thing it reminds me of how much I knew when I was younger. :) I guess that comes with being a teenager. :)
Lol the things I thought I knew as a teenager and yet I know so much better these days
Hahah! Isn't that the truth!

So, you have a long relationship with queen ann and a wedding story too, always like your flowers and its appearance, they are very colourful and indeed. Have a nice day.
Thank you so much for your words and for taking the time to comment! I do love Queen Annes Lace, even though most consider her a weed, she is delicate and beautiful to me.
Thank you again! Have a great night!
Yes Queen Ann's Lace is quite a delicate and pretty flower...However her almost identical twin is not.
Poison hemlock is a nasty (yet pretty) and commonly mistaken flower that is no joke. Just saw an article about a guy that has been ICU from contact with it!
