“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.”
When the pandemic was at its worst, I had to lean into these words, even though the unknown was scary, the words were a comfort to my soul. In reality, it is my children I worry most about, even now. I seek their warm, loving embrace, turning my world into sunshine. Oh, the power of love.
The calm of the moment alongside the sweet smells of the season.
I looked down and saw it was painted with a shade of bliss. For my soul can only take so many days of darkness before it breaks out in a fit of sunshine. I hope your day was equally as spectacular!
Today is a #BeautifulSunday hosted by @Ace108. You can join too by posting what you did with your day. To be fair, I tended to the garden, cooked, walked a fair distance, and caught up on #MarketFriday posts. I also post to #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a, where any random post will do! He loves eclectic and I love my @c0ff33a ! A match made in heaven.
The years are orchestrated by the sunsets of life, with joyful pieces of living in between. Alas, I contemplate, the sunset connects with a deeper, conceivably more profound part of myself and this amazing world we live in! The hues of the surrounding sky make for an image that shines beauty on everything it touches, including my soul. And I think to myself - what a wonderful world. Again.
Because pony kisses are the best.
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
The Naming of Cats
The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

Thank you for the repost @pixresteemer! Much appreciated!
Sorry, out of BEER, please retry later...
Outta beer? How do we fix this? 🍻
A dry day! ;))
What a chance to meet such a fresh post of yours. I once said that I learned a lot from you. Now you've inspired me again. I like how you made the new form of the blog. With fixed parts, which are repeated and with such poetic inserts. Few photos but well chosen and edited. Wonderful.
Coincidence again. Now, for the morning coffee, the moment that is dearest to my wife and me, I listened to a very beautiful version of the song that you also refer to in a sentence. Wonderful world.
I wish you a beautiful new week!
The thing about my posts is they tend to build themselves. Rarely do I seek to change, but, it seems the changes happen to give the post sonething its lacking.
You have become very creative with your posts, adding GIFS and other creative tools. I sorely lack in that. Perhaps, I will migrate into the artistic slant, but, dont hold your breath.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind words. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Beautiful 🌞
Thank you! Good morning! Happy Sunday!
Animals make the best kissers, they give sloppy kisses so readily and only with love. Love the close up photo of the pony, i am willing to be kissed every day.😘
They really are. Loyal and true. Where do I sign up for that?
Henry lives having his picture taken, but, lives piny kisses best.
Such a big worthfull words and we not regret for our past, not worried about future, live within your present, take your all joy with open soul to touch the time. It was a really beautiful sunday with orchestrated.
I would like to live with no regrets. Thank you for stopping by to read and leaving your words behind.
I hope you have a pleasant evening there.
Sunset with the mask on is still not the same. Not having to feel the sun on my face is something I miss.
I take my mask off outside, unless I am in a crowd. Most people do here, or at least where I live.
In crowds, I just wear it.
Well, here we require mask on as long as we go out. $300 fine for not wearing one.
Yikes!
Ahhhh... these photos of flowers instantly soothed some tension in my jaw and neck. So lovely. Thank you.
Also:
Well said. :) 🙏
Thank you so much! Although, I must admit that I feel bad that these are the flowers that you first viewed because it was 2 a.m. and I was tired! Hopefully you will get to see more.
All good, they had a really positive impact on me. Looking forward to seeing more :) 🙏
Thank you!
👍😀🙏
Oh you sure do know how to take in the sunshine and put it into a post for all of us to enjoy. Thankfully to the men and women that work in the labs day after day that we seem to see the waning days of the pandemic. Seems like so many love to hate on the pharmaceutical companies till you need them!
Those people on the labs work pretty hard behind the scenes even without COVID. When thse find something significant or useful, its like a huge workparty discovering penicillin!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and leave your words. Of course, you always leave the nicest comments.
Have a #beautifulsunday! Sublimely so.

Hi @buckaroo! :)) Hope all is well in your world!! Have a blessed day!
Hi dear @dswigle, I love your beginning sentences “One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.”
It is definitely inspired me, live in the present!
THANK YOU! :)
Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment. Isn't it true? People spend too much time with regrets instead of learning the lesson and moving on.
I feel we have to continue forward, always forward. I hope you are having a great week!
Stay safe!
Thank you @dswigle. Yes, agreed. Learning from the lesson and moving on.
We should also repent of the mistakes we made and remind ourselves not to do it again. Upgrade ourselves to be better person, be positive always, LIVE IN THE PRESENT! :))
Wishing you have a great week ahead! Thank you.
Thank you so much! I hope you are having a wonderful week!
