Clouds. I have always loved them. Some might say that I am a nephophiliac, and maybe I am. I have never met a cloud I didn't love.
I have a habit of pointing my phone up to the sky and snapping a picture of "what my day looks like," then send it to my favorite people who love clouds, or maybe me, and share my day. Who doesn't love clouds? Raise your hand!
Each time I see those clouds, I see the heart of my life slipping up through the clouds. It used to make me so sad, but, that has been replaced by a comfort of sorts, knowing where they are.
For there is but one lifetime to appreciate and nurture, to live, to love and smile. Fly away, fly away home. May you soar to the heavens, for your soul is free. If I close my eyes, looking upward, the shine will burst out loud, illuminating the leaves on the trees and the flowers beneath my feet. The sensation, the warmth of your sun-kissed love in my soul.
The merging of clouds can create its own kind of drama, where one tried to overpower the other, the lurid glow of the red seemingly unnatural.
Dancing on the wings at takeoffs - sometimes called condensation clouds, sometimes vortex clouds. Whichever term you use, it is still a cool sight. When you get up and away, they settle down to dreamy looking skies, as I stare out of my window, I have to wonder if I am the only one amazed at this sight. I look around and can see that so many have lost that wonder of it all and I can only hope to never reach that spot.
The splendor of the day vanishes into the sunset. Is it any wonder that they came up with such descriptive words for the close of the day?
Moving across the sky as I watch
Splendorous in color, always a sight
The canopy of beauty disguising the night
Signals the vivid end with delight
Barely there. Skirting just barely above the water, probably my favorite kind of cloud. Sometimes the line of vision goes for what seems like miles.
As always, there must be flowers to color my day. #Alwaysaflower
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

The clouds are so beautiful to stare at. I do that mostly when I am travelling, looking at the sky and wondering if I can sit on the clouds like they do in those cartoons I watch when I was little.
I do love the clouds, always and forever. I love them when I am traveling, but, I love them every day and take at least one picture a day, even if it is a cloudless sky.

I do like that dramatic colors of those clouds you captured! Very cool indeed!
The clous are usually white and puffy, but once in a while, we get some drama in the sky.

Always dancing up above, everyone must love cloud formation, losing your mind seeing shapes and colours.
Oh to the sky I go dreaming again, then it reminds me a !BEER must be spent, especially when the sun goes down to toast all who have gone before me, welcoming the star dust twinkling above.

Cloudgazing takes me back to my youth working on farms. Sometimes a massive amount of manual labor just makes you lay on your back for a while and stare at the sky. As an adult, I don't find myself looking up as much I used to, need to change that.

How are you and the family?
We are holding up, still stranded in Suriname, almost 2 years now, so hard to believe. This place doesn't feel like home and we know it never will, but we try to remain patient and hope we can make it to the USA, Cambodia, or another country with greener pastures.
Strangely enough it looks like tomorrow Cambodia is going to start offering e-Visas again, so fingers crossed. Hugs from the family!
