Daily Drawing Challenge: Day 01 - Insect

Hello community, I hope you are healthy and happy

I want to present to you my new work of art for the daily drawing challenge on the 1st of August with the theme "Insect".

The work shows the most important pollinating insect on planet earth: the bee

The world's food production and biodiversity depend on them. Since bee populations are declining dramatically on a global scale, these insects are more necessary than ever.

The work was done with a 6B, H2 pencil, green and pink crayons, and a yellow highlighter on cardboard paper. Use observation and imagination for this drawing.

These are my steps:
Step 1
First I sketched the bee and the flower.

Step 2
I worked with the colors and the highlighter

Step 3
Complete the work remembering how beautiful, hard-working, and important bees are in nature, making great contributions to agriculture and biodiversity.
