A very cordial greeting to the entire community, this time I want to share with you a bit of the history of the land where I was born and live today.

Anaco estado Anzoátegui Venezuela, es una ciudad donde sus inicios la habitaban una pequeña cantidad de personas viviendo en aldeas, casas de madera y chozas. El sustento principal para esta ciudad era la agricultura en especial el maíz y el cacao. Un pueblo tranquilo y con una cultura religiosa muy singular.

Anaco Anzoátegui state, Venezuela, is a city where its beginnings were inhabited by a small number of people living in villages, wooden houses and huts. The main sustenance for this city was agriculture, especially corn and cocoa. A quiet town with a very unique religious culture.

A partir de 1948 ocurre un hecho muy interesante que cambiaría el rumbo de vida de los que habitaban esta ciudad para ese entonces. Se trata nada más que el descubrimiento de pozos de petróleo en los campos y parcelas de casas que estaban siendo habitadas por los campesinos.

Starting in 1948, a very interesting event occurred that would change the life course of those who inhabited this city at that time. It is nothing more than the discovery of oil deposits in the fields and plots of houses that were being inhabited by the peasants.

Cuentan nuestros abuelos que en los patios de las casas salía el petróleo ,pero los dueños de las parcelas no sabían qué hacer ni tampoco que contenido era. Pero la voz fue esparcida tan lejos que llego a oídos de grandes empresarios del extranjero.

Our grandparents say that in the backyards of the houses the oil came out, but the owners of the plots did not know what to do or what content it was. But the word was spread so far that it reached the ears of big businessmen from abroad.

Los empresarios rápidamente al ver el potencial que había en esta ciudad se instalaron con todas sus maquinas y herramientas para la extracción de petróleo, adjudicando así en grandes caseríos a los propietarios de las tierras que tenían el petróleo.

The businessmen quickly, seeing the potential that there was in this city, installed all their machines and tools for the extraction of oil, thus adjudicating in large hamlets the owners of the lands that had the oil.
