Dinner in an oldtime restaurant

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Today i would like to share our last night dinner, not only with mom, this time we went with a friend. Yesterday was his birthday, and we went out for a modest dinner.

We went to a restaurant in West Jakarta, an old restaurant, my favorite when i was a child.

Here they had dining area which was quite large, half without air conditioner and another half with the air conditioner. We then went to the dining area with the air conditioner.

We were waiting not for a long time to get our dinner delivered.

What we ordered were birthday fried noodle with the pork, sweet & sour pork and capcay (stirred vegetables also with pork).

The taste

The flavour of the fried noodle was savory and a bit sweet. While the sweet & sour pork had savory with sweet & sour flavour of sauce. We thought, it was the most delicious here. And the last one, capcay only had light savory flavour. One thing made me a bit dissapointed was the flavour was so different with my childhood.
