INTRODUCING ANOTHER METHOD TO PREPARE EGUSI SOUP

avatar

Hi Hiveians,
So, I decided to make my egunsi with another method. Normally, I'd fry my egunsi ,add my pepper and vegetables and my egunsi would be done, but I decided to use another method because I wanted a more lumpy feel of my egunsi soup.
My ingredients

1.Grinded egunsi

  1. Blended pepper
  2. Diced onions
  3. Dry fish
  4. Ponmo
  5. Thinly sliced vegetables
  6. Locust beans
  7. Palm oil
  8. Seasoning
  9. Salt to taste.
I put my pot on fire and added water, allowed it to boil then put in my diced onions,I mixed the grinded egunsi with a little water to form a thick paste and drop it into the boiling water in bits.

Allow it to cook for 5 minutes then add you pepper, ponmo, seasoning, salt, dry fish and locust beans. Stir together and make sure it is well combined. Then add your vegetables and palm oil and allow to cook for some minutes more till the vegetable is well cooked.
