HOW I PREPARE MY WHITE RICE AND PALM OIL STEW THIS MORNING

Hi Hiveians,
It's a work day so there's not much time for elaborate meals but whichever way, I made sure my diet is as balance as it can be managed. I prepared white rice and made my stew with palm oil since I'm somehow tired of eating groundnut oil stew.
I boiled my rice and added salt and a little groundnut oil to avoid the rice boiling over then I put my pot on fire, added my palm oil and allowed it to heat up. Added my onions to the hot oil then added my grinded pepper. I added my seasoning and allowed it to cook. After some minutes I added my boiled egg and chicken then left the stew on fire till the water is totally dried up. Check in your rice and when it's soft enough, drain the excess water (it also helps remove the excess starch), return the rice to the pot and show it to dry up, then serve. My fried plantain also made an appearance.
