Tiger - Two Ways

avatar

Hi All! I thought that I would go with something a little fun today and feature Tiger (my cat) in both sepia and color. So...how does an orange cat look in sepia? Let's take a look!

Now, please don't think that I cut out parts of his little orange face to fit him in some of the collages as I can assure you that I did not. I just took some close up photos when he was hanging out on the arm of the couch and, luckily, they fit very nicely in the boxes..lol.

This is one of the full photos and as you can plainly see I fit most of him in the photo. I could've put them in collages also but I didn't want to put every single photo in one.

Okay! On this one I did cut off some of his big fluffiness but in all fairness...I didn't want you (my viewers) to get bored already and only cropped out a small portion of his body!

Don't worry, we're coming up to the end and my last collage!

I thought I would have a little extra fun on my last two photos / gifs! I figured we could all use a little laugh in today's world! 😁

So..what do you think?! I think the sepia really brings out the orange in my big fluffy orange cat..lol. Kidding aside though, I do love both versions and I love my big fluffy orange cat Tiger! 💖

Dear new member of HIVE, you have made a big mistake by signing up here. Here on this Blockchain you are surrounded by abuse of power and the greed of some who determine what happens here.

If you publish here, make sure that you publish only what is beneficial to the owners of the assets on HIVE. You must never express your own opinion or criticize anyone. If you do, the powerful will destroy your account and take every cent from you.

You will soon find out that you only earn a few cents here. Others, on the other hand, sometimes get extremely rich. Look around, you'll soon find that some people get 2 or even 3 digit $ amounts for small contributions, but you don't even get 50 cents.

Here's an example of a witness with his powerful friends called @pfunk destroying a small account of a non-profit organization and destroying all donations. He has disadvantaged and socially weak handicapped persons, seniors but also people who raise a child alone, harmed very much. Surely you do not want to support such a block chain that allows such a thing. Do you? In the contributions all data, inclusive registration with the court - address and further data are listed. You see this is an official charity.

You can read the contributions in which this witness expressed himself here. As you can see he tried to destroy the contributions, but you can still see them.

I know you'd like to earn a few cents too. That's why I'd like to show you some alternatives

Hive was originally the Blockchain Steem. Steem is still the bigger and much more active chain. There you can get a free account from me including a delegation of power that is on the account. Just enter as a comment - Steem account and I will get back to you. https://steemit.com/

At the beginning of July Voice ( voice.com ) will end its beta phase and be available worldwide. There will be no powerholders like here. A capital of 150 million US $ was made available there. I think this system will be very successful.

With these comments, I welcome every new member on HIVE. I have access to hundreds of accounts and you can't turn that off.

Looks like either way he's orange just with the sepia everything else is too. But I like the sepia shots the best, gives it that "old time" feeling to me. How old is that fella?

Thank you very much @sultnpapper!! I think Tiger is about 6 or 7 years old. My memory really isn't too good but I'm pretty sure that is close. Yeah, I was being silly with doing him in sepia..lol. I've been known to be silly now and again. 😊

I have never been a fan of house cats but the wife and I got a kitten from a friend back when we first married that we kept inside. He was jet black and not a white hair on his body, I named him the "Ace of Spades" since that is my favorite suit in deck of cards. He was naturally mean as kitten and lucky for us we had four years to calm him down before we had kids.
He was so protective of the kids that when people came over we had to lock him up in the guest bedroom to keep him from attacking. He literally jumped straight up from the floor one time and bit my mother in law on the forearm before she could even take a seat on the couch. But he was gentle as could be with the kids.
He ended up dying when he was 17 years old and we never replaced him.
I told the wife and kids that we could never find another cat as loyal and protective as him and wouldn't be fair to new cat to have to live up to his legend status. It has worked thus far.

Reminds me of my moms cat when I was little. All black with white boots so he or she was called Bootsie. Hated that cat as it was so mean and terrorized me as a toddler. My cat Friendly is probably leaving us soon and it is very sad. Told my husband that I don't want to have any new pets for a while. Just getting harder to deal with them leaving. I love your name that you chose for your cat all those years ago "Ace of Spades". 💖

We called him "Acer" for his short name. That was a tough loss for the entire family when passed.
But having pets and losing them is important for kids in the growing process, learning how to grieve is not something that most parents want their children to have to do, but it can certainly be helpful later on in life.
Shortie had a really tough time when the guinea pigs passed back a couple of years ago because those were her pets and she had raised them.

I totally agree! My daughter and son are mostly grown but have always had pets. I've always felt the same way as you said that it is important for them to experience the process and learn from it how to deal with grief. I'm having a pretty hard time dealing with Friendly's passing. She left us on Saturday. She was a good cat, family member and friend to me.
"But having pets and losing them is important for kids in the growing process, learning how to grieve is not something that most parents want their children to have to do, but it can certainly be helpful later on in life."...this could make a nice dash on the #dailydose. Just a thought.
Guinea pigs are my favorite pet. I had them growing up and have one now. When my favorite one died I cried for three days and I still think about him all these many years later. I'm sorry for Shortie's loss..💖
