Modern Theosophy - Basic Work

Modern Theosophy postulates that the field of existence encompasses more than this matter and passes through the reality that we perceive through our senses. In fact, the lack of knowledge about the higher aspects of reality makes us see things from the wrong perspective, which is the root cause of suffering. We can acquire knowledge of the Real, both in the universe and in humans, through holistic spiritual practice which includes study, meditation and service. Below are some of the basic ideas offered by the Theosophical literature for consideration. However, the Theosophical Society did not ask its members to follow any of these ideas specifically.

Behind everything visible or invisible is an absolute Reality that is eternal, infinite, and unchangeable, which is beyond the reach of human thought. Both matter and consciousness (or spirit) are two polar aspects of this Reality. theosophy postulates that the cyclical universe of the universe manifests, expands, and dissolves back into absolute Reality. After a period of cosmic rest, a new universe reappears. since everything originates from (or manifests within) this single Reality, there is only one common Life which pervades and sustains the entire universe. Every form of life is an expression of this Union. The visible universe is only its densest part, the entire universe also contains an invisible dimension or plane of a very thin kind of matter-energy that penetrates the physical.

Theosophy postulates a destination universe. The entire system, visible and invisible, is a scene of the grand scheme of evolution, in which life moves to a more expressive form, a more responsive consciousness, and a more unified consciousness. there are no mechanical laws. The universe is pervaded by nonanthropomorphic intelligence, which is immanent and transcendent. Intelligence therefore forms the basis of all the laws of experience of many people, to finally bring us back to oneness with One Divine Reality, but now in full awareness. Thus, our aim is to complete the cycle of cosmic manifestation through which we attain the full realization of ourselves as an integral part of the One, no longer polarized between consciousness and matter, or divide into self and others. This realization is enlightenment.
