My farm diary

It was quiet unfortunately that I got to know about #hive after I have actually started my farm this year as a first timer, hence as at the time I was onboarded last month by @olaumnlimited, lots of activities as already taken place on the farm.
However, I tried as much as possible to make use of the few pictures I took during the time I started clearing my farm, which I titled as follow, the first which was part of my earlier introductory post was, "how I start my farm during the covid19 debacle, how I converted a virgin land into a farmland", while the other post on the activities on my farmland was "joy of a farmer/ bountiful harvest", which I try to give an account of the happening on my farmland.
Against this foregoing every subsequent post on the activities of my farmland will be titled as thus, "MY FARM DIARY", this will give an update of the progress taking place on my farmland. In fact i must admit that venturing into farm business is not a child play at all, there are lots of factors which are so beyond someone control, which I happened to be a victim this year.
One of those such factor was the frequency of rainfall, by the time I finished making my ridges and planting my maize, there was a complete seize in rainfall for over a month, which greatly affected my crops, and was eventually infected by pest.
The other factor was flooding, after the rain commence, it started to rain very heavily frequently which resulted into flooding, am grateful this didn't affects my farmland.

The other major factor is the availability of seedlings, there is a say that you wouldn't know how scare something is until you started looking for them, this was so evident when I started my farm, I found it so hard to get casava stick and the few ones I got was so expensive it become a challenge for me.
But by and large after the so many challenges and negativities I experience during the course of my farming I am still very grateful in some of the bountiful harvest I recorded which i showcase when I wrote previously (for those who have been following my blog).
However in my subsequent post on the activities on my farmland it will be titled "my farm diary 2" on so on.
However, I will like to share the pictures of the few fun times I had on my farm.
