¿Se dieron cuenta que el título de éste post parece el título de una gran película? Algo así como la más esperada en cartelera.
Ayer se cumplieron 20 días de haber comenzado con las remodelaciones en lo que será mi nuevo hogar, o bueno, lo que ya es mi nuevo hogar. Y entre frustraciones, noche de extremo cansancio y algunos dolores de cabeza. Me siento muy feliz de poder compartir que ya casi termina éste proyecto.
Sólo faltan pequeñas cosas y bueno, terminar de decorar, aunque eso vendrá con el avance del tiempo.
Did you notice that the title of this post sounds like the title of a big movie? Something like the most awaited movie on the billboard.
Yesterday marked 20 days since I started remodeling what will be my new home, or well, what is already my new home. And in between frustrations, extremely tired night and some headaches. I am very happy to be able to share that this project is almost finished.
There are only little things left to do and well, finish decorating, although that will come as time goes by.
En el último post les mencioné que estábamos finalizando las puertas. Pues ya fueron instaladas y quedaron perfectas.
Lo siguiente que hice fue pintar mi gavetero, el cual era de color blanco. Primero tocó lijarlo para luego pintarlo nuevamente. Éste fue quizás el trabajo más fácil de toda la remodelación.
Las manijas las pinté de dorado y el resultado fue espectacular.
In the last post I mentioned that we were finishing the doors. Well, they were installed and they were perfect.
The next thing I did was to paint my cabinet, which was white. First I had to sand it and then paint it again. This was perhaps the easiest job of the whole remodel.
I painted the handles gold and the result was spectacular.
También llegó mi nueva cama por delivery, la cuál me dio un poquito de trabajo poder instalar.
El siguiente paso fue mudar todas mis cosas y terminar de arreglar mi habitación.
Así que compré un nuevo juego de sabanas y una almohada. Terminando así la primera sección del mini departamento, es decir, mi habitación y el baño.
My new bed also arrived by delivery, which took me a little bit of work to install.
The next step was to move all my stuff and finish fixing up my room.
So I bought a new set of sheets and a pillow. Thus finishing the first section of the mini apartment, that is, my bedroom and the bathroom.
Ahora sólo quedaba el gran final.
Luego de haber comprado toda la madera necesaria, comenzamos a armar lo que sería la barra de la cocina.
Éste era el momento que más anhelaba de toda la remodelación, ver la cocina como lo había imaginado y, cómo lo diseñé en los sims. 🤣
Now all that was left was the grand finale.
After buying all the wood we needed, we started to assemble what would be the kitchen counter.
This was the moment I was most looking forward to of the whole remodel, seeing the kitchen as I had imagined it and, how I designed it in the sims. 🤣
Y a pesar de que todo se volvió un desastre nuevamente durante la mudanza de las demás cosas. Estoy demasiado feliz porque el resultado es más tangible que nunca.
Sólo falta añadir algunas bases mas para la barra, barnizar la mesa y poner todo en su sitio.
Pero del 100% sólo faltaría un 15% por terminar.
Ya llevo dos noches durmiendo aquí y, aunque me siento extraña por la falta de compañía. Siento que me estoy adaptando bastante rápido a ésta nueva etapa de mi vida.
Sé que traerá muchos más cambios y movimientos. Pero estoy sumamente agradecida con la vida y con el universo por tan maravilloso resultado.
And even though everything became a mess again during the moving of the other stuff. I'm so happy because the result is more tangible than ever.
I just need to add some more bases for the bar, varnish the table and put everything in place.
But of the 100%, only 15% is left to finish.
I have been sleeping here for two nights now and, although I feel strange because of the lack of company. I feel like I'm adjusting pretty quickly to this new stage of my life.
I know it will bring many more changes and moves. But I am extremely grateful to life and the universe for such a wonderful outcome.

He visto la evolución en vivo y se que has estado queriendo que acabe ya todo este proceso de transformación, ya ves que ha valido la pena, cuando tengas prisa frena que lo mas importante es el proceso, seguramente ahora tendras otro anecdota que contar. estoy feliz de ver tu nido, porque ahora es un pequeño hogar
