Of all my week the day I always look forward to is Tuesday, I work for the other six days 11 hours non-stop, that's why Tuesday is the day I spend most to be away from the banal distractions and more connected to nature, my feelings, sensations and ideas. The world becomes a fast and restless society, where getting bored is not an option and there must always be outside noise or excess information.

One of the things that was hardest for me to learn in my whole life was to be patient, in fact, I became a pretty irrational person when things didn't happen at the time I wanted, I floated inside the bubble of bitterness and cursed at every single thing when I had to wait for something or someone. This made it difficult for me to understand that people had individual processes for thinking about answers or digesting discussions. When I was arguing with someone I wanted to resolve and continue arguing at that very moment, but my brother preferred to digest things in his loneliness and then look for a solution by being more rational.

It was when I turned 19 that I internalized that things cannot be at my time or my disposition, that everything has a cycle or a process to go through and what, I simply had to accept it. But telling me that was not going to be the immediate solution and repeating it to me in a mantra was perhaps just a way of learning something new by heart, I had to look for some task that would teach me to wait, so I thought: something that I really don't like to do ? and my clear answer was that I love to eat more not to cook because I don't like to wait.

First I would like to introduce you to this little plant that we have saved over the weeks and I continue to tell you my story. As I was saying, cooking is an activity that really filled me with anger, the simple fact of going through all that process and waiting to be able to eat was something that put me in a very heavy mood, so during the quarantine I made it a personal challenge to take courage, relax and cook.

The first weeks I even cried because I couldn't stand the idea of cooking lunch so early in the morning so that I could eat it at 1pm, but then a kind of culinary resilience came to me in which I learned to wait for the food, to enjoy the process and simply not be bitter anymore.

It's an anecdote I like to tell my co-workers (because they knew me as a walking dark bubble to the person I am today). With this personal challenge I learned to wait, not only the food but also everything else that came along, I stopped pretending that other people's times had to adapt my conditions and comforts, the moment I enjoy most now is the process instead of the final result, which does fill me with satisfaction, but the process is that great path that leaves the trail of everything we know today.

After having shared with you this beautiful personal learning, I show you a little bit how my day has gone, these delicious cookies and cupcakes have been brought to me by my mom today (she loves pastries), she made them with a Halloween theme, which by the way, I bring a very good story for you that maybe I will present to you between today and tomorrow, I am just finishing the cover which is a very hard edit.

Talking a little about patience, this little plant you see here has been growing since May, it's two potatoes we put in the pot and only this month the plant started to sprout. At first I was afraid that it wouldn't grow well because Lima is an extremely hot city when it's summer (and even though we're currently in spring the weather feels like midsummer) but the truth is that it looks very good. Today has turned out to be a wonderful day and, although I only left the house to walk around the park nearby, I feel that I have taken advantage of it all.

I hope you liked this post, which by the way, the structure is inspired by @auelitairene so the creative part of the layout is dedicated to her because I love her posts.
