BLOGGING CHALLENGE Day 3: my favorite quote ✨
Este post está escrito en dos idiomas y dividido para facilitar la lectura.
Me gustan los temas que trata éste reto porque te deja pensando durante un largo tiempo y en la búsqueda de la respuesta que sabes que mejor conecta contigo. Como lo es hoy, ¿cuál es mi cita favorita? Y aunque me gustaría identificar solo una, lo cierto es que siempre estoy recopilando citas que terminan aportando un significado muy importante en mi vida, así que hoy les traeré tres de mis citas preferidas. ♥
I like the issues that this challenge addresses because it leaves you thinking for a long time and searching for the answer that you know best connects with you. As it is today, what is my favorite quote? And although I would like to identify only one, the truth is that I am always collecting quotes that end up bringing a very important meaning in my life, so today I will bring you three of my favorite quotes.

Del libro Las Ventajas de ser un Marginado de Stephen Chbosky, uno de los pocos libros que marcó mi pre-adolescencia (tanto así que tengo un tatuaje con otra cita del mismo libro ''Somos infinitos''). Muy aparte de todo el significado que tiene éste libro para mí, ésta cita logra llegarme porque engloba una verdad gigantesca y para mi incita a la reflexión del amor que nos tenemos a nosotros mismos. Cuando nos amamos completamente reconocemos que el amor que debemos de aceptar debe estar a la altura del propio. De lo contrario, sucede como con la co-protagonista Sam, quién aceptaba un amor dañino porque ese era el valor que ella tenía sobre sí misma.
From the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, one of the few books that marked my pre-adolescence (so much so that I have a tattoo with another quote from the same book ''We are infinite''). Apart from all the meaning that this book has for me, this quote manages to reach me because it encompasses a gigantic truth and for me it incites reflection on the love we have for ourselves. When we love ourselves completely we recognize that the love we must accept must be equal to our own. Otherwise, it happens like with the co-star Sam, who accepted a harmful love because that was the value she had on herself.

Julio Cortázar es uno de mis autores favoritos, desde que leí su libro ''Rayuela'' no he parado con ninguna obra de éste autor. Ésta cita me toca muy de cerca porque a pesar de que todos nos consideramos libres, en algunos casos queremos aferrar a personas a nosotros por ''amor'' olvidándonos que son tan libres como nosotros.
Julio Cortázar is one of my favorite authors, since I read his book ''Rayuela'' I have not stopped with any work of this author. This quote touches me very closely because even though we all consider ourselves free, in some cases we want to hold on to people for ''love'', forgetting that they are as free as we are.

Durante toda la cuarentena Bob Ross se convirtió en una de mis más importantes compañías, aunque para muchos artistas su trabajo es considerado como algo básico, para mí contienen toda la esencia que debería de tener un artista, paz, equilibrio, y mucho amor por lo que se hace. Esa calma con la cuál era capaz de observar el mundo, el arte y a las personas son hilos de enseñanza y empatía que dejó para todos los demás. Ésta cita me llena de esperanza, porque nunca se deja de aprender en ésta vida.
Throughout the quarantine Bob Ross became one of my most important companies, although for many artists their work is considered basic, for me they contain all the essence that an artist should have, peace, balance, and a lot of love for what they do. That calm with which he was able to observe the world, art and people are threads of teaching and empathy that he left for everyone else. This quote fills me with hope, because you never stop learning in this life.
La cita es una palabra muy poderosa en nuestras vidas, mi cita favorita es la de las sagradas escrituras que quiero compartir con ustedes.

El genial e imprescindible Cortázar...como él no hay otro similar, y la cita que has tomado de él es hermosa y contundente; y él tiene toda la razón, si estás con alguien que se te escapa o no quiere estar a tu lado, es mejor no estar con esa persona. Cuando alguien te va a amar lo hace sin presión ni obligación, sino recordemos a la historia de amor de La Maga y él en Rayuela. Lo que ocurre, es que muchas veces elegimos para amar, personas que no se quieren ni a sí mismas, menos nos van a querer a nosotros. Buena elección. Un abrazo.
