Let's stimulate creativity! Painting!

So much time at home and we have to exercise our mind and our artistic skills, so my wife and I decided to relax, comfortably seated on the sofa on the veranda, and we created some pike art work for our abilities. My wife has always had a passion for painting and decoupage, but I have less and therefore gave me many useful tips.

The subject is a woman and my wife was inspired by Frida Kahlo, a famous Mexican painter. It started with a pencil drawing on a thicker paper than the drawing paper, a bit of cardboard. Then we put the colors that inspired us most in a saucer and we started coloring the outline of the face, the face and then the hair

Then we colored the shirt and finally everything else. It was not very simple for me, the pink is difficult to lay, especially on the face, in some places I have a little smudged unfortunately.

In addition to this female subject, we also painted colorful floral subjects, flowering succulents. I love the roundness of the shapes because they fill the eyes and put a really good mood!
