First of all, I'm no baker! I just love trying out new things.
My mum is such a cake lover, so is my sister. When I got back home due to the Federal and State Government Lockdown orders in March, here in Nigeria, it was a sweat to adjust to the “new normal”.
How it used to be was pretty simple; my mum wants cake, I place an order and in a few, it’s delivered to the house or her office. But right now, we can’t trust anyone, especially with food.
Don't get me wrong, it’s only because of the Corona Virus
Anyways, I decided to bake at home, the traditional style aka WITH NO MIXER! Yes, I made that cake with a wooden spoon, the cake ingredients I’d list down below, an oven...and regular kitchen stuff.

This cake was inspired by my family. Lol. My sister loves chocolate cake, my mum loves plain cake. So I had to do a mix. For the toppings, I used coconut shreds, cleaned and grated by your new favorite humble chef (ME) 😂 Seriously though.

Best part, the cake came out PERFECTLY! The fluffiness is out of this world and the taste, DIVINE!
