Cuando hablamos de un sueño nos referimos a situaciones que uno piensa no pueden ocurrir, esas cosas que sobrepasan las metas y los objetivos, generalmente después de pensar en un sueño, siempre viene acompañado de un suspiro por el anhelo de lograrlo. Eso fue lo que pasó con un viaje que nos habíamos propuesto hacer mi esposa y yo desde que nos conocimos.
Un buen día, llega a nuestras manos uno de esos libros que promociona planes y paquetes turísticos. En la noche nos sentamos a ver todos los destinos, la discusión giraba en torno a cuál sería el destino que nos agradaría a ambos, comenzamos a ver los destinos más cercanos a nuestro país Venezuela, el Caribe, Sur América, Centro y Norte América. Cada página que pasábamos estaba llena de paisajes espectaculares e impresionantes, mostrándonos lo mejor cada ciudad, suspiros iban y venían, dicen que las risas son contagiosas, les garantizo que los suspiros también.

Seguíamos pasando páginas y páginas, maravillados de la cantidad de destinos impresionantes, pasamos por China, Corea, Australia, Dubái, Jordania. Si Julio Verne hubiera tenido este libro entre sus manos, la Vuelta al Mundo hubiera sido en una noche. Comenzamos a ver el continente europeo, el primer destino al que llegamos fue Francia, específicamente París, ambos nos miramos y sin pronunciar palabras habíamos decidido que era el destino, el suspiro de ella fue increíble, casi deja sin aire el ambiente del cuarto.
Comenzamos a detallar los costos de los paquetes, la cantidad de días, los hoteles, líneas aéreas, en que época del año sería ideal ir, y todo aquello que se nos ocurría, en ese momento pasó de un sueño a un objetivo y como tal comenzamos a actuar.

We began to detail the costs of the packages, the number of days, the hotels, airlines, in which time of the year would be ideal to go, and everything that we could think of, in that moment passed from a dream to a goal and as such we began to act.
Día tras día realizábamos actividades referentes con el viaje, pero nos focalizamos en ponerle la fecha, puesto que era muy importante para definir el resto de las cosas. Marzo, era buena época puesto que finalizaba el invierno y las temperaturas serían un poco más manejables, claro, era nuestra percepción hasta ese momento. En nuestro país la temperatura promedio del año es 27 grados centígrados.
Listo, un buen día definimos que era hora de comprar los boletos. Comentamos a nuestras familias y todos se contentaron muchísimo, al punto que varios se animaron y compraron el mismo paquete turístico. Ya con los paquetes en las manos se acercaba más el objetivo, solo una calamidad podía alejarnos de ese destino.
Luego de una pequeña revisión en Internet sobre el clima, la zona y sitios de interés, nos dedicamos a planificar todo, hasta lo más mínimo que se les ocurra, dos meses antes ya habíamos empacado para el viaje

Paseo por la Ciudad / City Tour
Llega el día y todos los que se habían unido al grupo estábamos animados y el mes de marzo salimos del aeropuerto de Caracas y ocho horas después aterrizábamos en el aeropuerto Orly, Paris.
Llegamos al hotel Le Lotti que tiene una ubicación estratégica, muy cerca del Jardín de las Tulleries. Desde el jardín, si vas a la derecha, llegas a la plaza la Concordia y el principio de los Campos Elíseos, rumbo al Arco del Triunfo. A la izquierda, queda el Museo de Louvre. Dejamos las maletas y salimos a dar una vuelta y disfrutar de la ciudad.

We arrived at the Hotel Le Lotti which has a strategic location, very close to the Jardin des Tulleries. We leave our bags and go for a walk and enjoy the city.

Paseo por el Louvre, un museo gigante y con muchas obras emblemáticas entres sus pasillos y salas, la Mona Lisa y Victoria de Samotracia quizás de las obras principales. Para conocerlo en su totalidad se requieren por lo menos 3 días, pero que valen la pena.

El Arco del Triunfo, al cual llegamos luego de una caminata desde el hotel, pasando por La Plaza de la Concordia, y por los Campos Elíseos, llenos de grandes tiendas y cafés, se hace muy agradable el paseo. Impresionante observar que en una estructura tan importante para la ciudad, por lo que representa, se encuentre entre los nombres tallados en el arco, el de Miranda.
La Catedral de Notre Dame, muy agradable su estructura adornada con gárgolas, de inmediato recordé a Quasimodo, fue excelente.

Recuerdos / Memories
Definitivamente, lo más importante es que no hay recuerdos si no hay alguien con quien compartir el momento, el tiempo y el espacio. Los recuerdos se hacen borrosos y las personas que te acompañaron los mantienen presentes y los hacen permanentes, narrar los diferentes puntos de vistas y gustos, es algo increíble, al punto de llegar a pensar que fueron en viajes diferentes.
Una experiencia magnífica, una ciudad linda, una compañía espectacular hicieron que pudiera sentir a París entre mis manos.
Definitely, the most important thing is that there are no memories if there is no one to share the moment, time and space with. Memories become blurred and the people who accompanied you keep them present and make them permanent. Narrating the different points of view and tastes is something incredible, to the point of thinking that they were on different journeys.
A magnificent experience, a beautiful city, a spectacular company made me feel Paris in my hands.
