Wednesdaywalk: Walking in Kazan - A walk through the Kazan Kremlin (part 4)
This is my entry for the @tattoodjay's Wednesday walk challenge.
Today I want to continue my story about a trip to the city of Kazan, which I made several years ago at the very end of spring.
Last time I finished my story on how, after a walk to the panorama, we again went out onto the main street of the Kremlin and walked along it.
Of course, this cannot be considered a street in the full understanding of modern cities. This street is quite short. You see there in the distance you can see the Spasskaya Tower, which is located at the entrance to the Kremlin.
And if you look in the opposite direction, you can see in the background the wooden roof of another tower. There the street is already ending. And quite in the background you can see modern houses located on the other side of the river.
The main attraction of this photo, and in general an important object of the Kremlin is the Suyumbike tower. Like the famous tower in Pisa, the Suyumbike tower is falling. There are different legends about this tower, probably I'll tell about it later. But the guide told us that the tower is actually slowly tilting. So there is no magic here.
Near the tower is the presidential palace. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan works here.
Being near the entrance to the Annunciation Cathedral, I decided to take a panorama. It seems to have worked out quite well.
Then I headed for the gates of the presidential palace.
Putting the camera through the gate, I took a picture of the palace itself.
On the contrary, in the building of the former cannon yard there is a museum.
Here I will end today's story. I hope you enjoyed the photo. There will be a sequel ahead.
See you next Wednesday!
I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
Enjoying your style, nice photos ;)
