This dress is to be specially made for me, though the cutting process has been done a very long time ago,for a while now, i have not been able to make any dress for myself as i have been too busy making outfit for my clients and it gives me joy to see them look beautiful in the outfit i made for them.

I intend to make a long pencil gown with half length at the waist using an African print fabric, and this is the cutting and sewing of the princess dart bustier.

Cutting process

The lining was cut same as the main fabric.

Interfacing was added to the main fabric and doubled at the bust area to make it firm while bff was added to the lining to give it weight and for the upper bodice to be firm.
