This afternoon, I want to show you the cutting process of an hijab worn by Muslim veiled women.

Getting to work this morning, a woman brought a fabric of about 3 trouser length which is 45" per trouser to make a beautiful long hijab for her.

Measurements

The measurement is taken from the center of the head down through the back to the ground or desired length and also from the center of the head to the ground through the side shoulder.

cutting process

• Fold the fabric in two and fold in triangular shape

• Measure the full length as shown below

This is just the cutting process, the sewing and finishing process will be posted later when done.
