Hace un par de años atrás había decidido abrir una estética junto con mi esposo, sin embargo antes queríamos prepararnos para entrar al negocio por lo menos con algunos conocimientos básicos, así que mientras yo hice un curso de colorimetría, mi esposo realizó uno de depilación y cosmetología durante ese curso aprendimos algunos truquitos que en esta época donde lo más sensato es quedarse en casa nos han sido bastante útiles, hoy quiero compartir uno de esos truquitos con ustedes.

A couple of years ago I had decided to open a beauty salon with my husband, however before we wanted to prepare ourselves to enter the business at least with some basic knowledge, so while I did a course of colorimetry, my husband did one of hair removal and cosmetology during that course we learned some tricks that in this time where the most sensible thing is to stay at home have been quite useful, today I want to share one of those tricks with you.

Depilación con cera Cristal (glucosa para repostería)

Cuando te encuentres en la estética y tu esteticista te diga que utilizará cera cristal que es una cera fría y ecológica ya sabes que en realidad está hablando es de la glucosa para repostería que es un derivado de la sacarosa.

When you find yourself in a beauty salon and your esthetician tells you that she will use crystal wax, which is a cold, environmentally friendly wax, you know that she is really talking about glucose, which is a derivative of sucrose.

Para realizar la depilación vamos a necesitar.

To perform the hair removal we will need

●-Glucosa
●-Hojas de papel
●-Una cuchara

●-Glucose
●-Sheets of paper
●-One spoon

Tomamos la cuchara por la parte honda y agarramos una porción de glucosa con el mango de la cuchara, procedemos a extender la glucosa sobre la piel en una capa muy delgada.

We take the spoon by the deep part and grab a portion of glucose with the handle of the spoon, we proceed to spread the glucose on the skin in a very thin layer.

Luego tomamos una tira de papel de aproximadamente 4 cm de grosor la colocamos sobre la piel aplicando presión en sentido de los vellos de la piel.

Then we take a strip of paper about 4 cm thick and place it on the skin applying pressure in the direction of the hairs of the skin.

Cuando esta esté bien adherida a la piel tiramos en sentido contrarío a los vellos de la piel y listo, inmediatamente veremos los vellos pegados al papel. Finalmente hidratamos nuestra piel y así quedamos completamente listas con una piel suave y tersa libre de vellos.

When it is well adhered to the skin, pull it in the opposite direction to the hairs of the skin and that's it, you will immediately see the hairs stuck to the paper. Finally we moisturize our skin and we are completely ready with a soft and smooth skin free of hairs.

Esta técnica es bastante práctica y no maltrata la piel, además de que al no utilizar calor no exponemos nuestra piel a posibles lesiones por quemaduras, sin mencionar que es mucho más económica que una depilación con cera y lo mejor de todo es que la podemos realizar en casa nosotras mismas.
