The Hottest Temperature Recorded

Apparently Death Valley just witnessed the world's highest recorded temperature ever and something about this rubs me the wrong way. Wait let me remember what it was........ Oh yeah, it's the fact that the way mainstream media has been reporting about this it feels like a joke rather than a serious issue. To be honest I have no clue if all the media houses reported this the same way as I don't live in the US but when I searched for it all I found were clips where the news anchor was laughing all the way through and making jokes about this.

This is indeed a pretty serious issue where we are seeing temperatures rising upwards to 55°Celsius which is simply crazy and the only one to blame for this is us, Humans. I am no saint as I also have a significant Carbon Footprint around me but I certainly do not condone just blatantly ignoring what's going on around us. Damn this has most certainly left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope more and more people see this as a warning sign as to what's coming.
