The Aftermath of a Cyclone

Cyclone Yass has been terrorizing the Indian coasts for like a week now as it started from the SOuth of India and crept up towards Odissa and Westbengal. The cyclone has left a trail of damages in various parts and over 300000 houses were destroyed in this Cyclone and upwards of 10 million people were affected by it. I have seen houses destroyed, bridges collapsing, and much more stuff but the one thing that has me scared the most is the fact that India is currently on the Second Wave of Covid-19 and I just have a bad feeling in my gut that the cases of Covid are going to rise after this Storm subsides.

Even though my District might be one of the lowest affected Districts in Westbengal from this Cyclone I am kinda scared to get out of my room for the next couple of days. As of right now the Cyclone has kind of entered its last phases and by this time tomorrow I feel like the Cyclone will be gone but the question that looms over my head is the fact that is it safe to go out right now or should we just keep inside our rooms for a couple of days.
