Bélgica es un país que comprende un territorio con 30.528 Km²; desde el punto de vista espacial, se trata de una nación pequeña. Sin embargo, posee una extraordinaria riqueza hídrica, siendo sus dos principales cuerpos naturales de agua superficial, los ríos Escalda (Scheldt) y el Mosa. Caudalosos y navegables, surcan el suelo belga y se ramifica por sus múltiples conexiones de canales.

Belgium is a country that comprises a territory of 30,528 km>sup>2; from a spatial point of view, it is a small nation. However, it possesses an extraordinary wealth of water, its two main natural bodies of surface water being the Scheldt and the Meuse. Flowing and navigable, they run through the Belgian soil and branch out through its many canal connections.

Este navegable cuerpo de agua dulce nace en Francia, atraviesa Bélgica y se abre paso por Países Bajos para drenar en el delta fluvial en los Países Bajos, un majestuoso territorio que fue formado por la confluencia y arrime de material orgánico de los ríos Rin-Mosa-Escalda. De esta manera, las aguas de imponente río Mosa se unen al Mar del Norte. Su cuenca tiene una superficie de 36.000 Km² con un caudal promedio de 400 m³/s ⛰️

This navigable body of fresh water originates in France, crosses Belgium, and makes its way through the Netherlands to drain into the river delta in the Netherlands, a majestic territory that was formed by the confluence and upwelling of organic material from the Rhine-Mose-Scheldt rivers. In this way, the waters of the mighty Meuse River join the North Sea. Its basin has a surface area of 36,000 kmKm² with an average flow of 400 m³/s ⛰️

Las bondades de la naturaleza hidrobiológica integran una hermosa vegetación que se extiende por toda la ribera y se ha conservado como parte de la política de protección ambiental. La ribera luce su esplendor con gran variedad de especies ornamentales incorporadas al ecosistema. Se mantiene una cultura de educación ambiental y consciencia ecológica que se aprecia en la distancia que hay de la margen del río hasta el ecosistema construido por el hombre. El diseño arquitectónico y belleza paisajista dan ese toque Europeo de pertenencia y protección a los espacios naturales. En particular, me encantó disfrutar del viaje a Jambes, Namur; en la oportunidad de conocer y fotografiar el río Mosa, Meuse en francés y Maas en alemán.

The goodness of the hydrobiological nature integrates a beautiful vegetation that spreads all over the bank and has been preserved as part of the environmental protection policy. The riverbank shows off its splendor with a great variety of ornamental species incorporated into the ecosystem. A culture of environmental education and ecological awareness is maintained, which can be appreciated in the distance from the riverbank to the man-made ecosystem. The architectural design and landscape beauty give that European touch of belonging and protection to the natural spaces. I particularly enjoyed the trip to Jambes, Namur; the opportunity to see and photograph the Meuse River, Meuse in French and Maas in German.

Las fotografías fueron tomadas con un dispositivo móvil marca Huawei P Smart, modelo POT-LX1, en ambiente con tiempo nublado tempranas horas de la mañana y a pocas horas del ocaso. Las fotografías horizontales se dimensionaron a 800 X 600 píxeles y las verticales a 600 X 700 píxeles para mantener la originalidad y calidad de las imágenes. No se aplicó filtros y otro efecto de nivel para contraste.

The photographs were taken with a mobile device brand Huawei P Smart, model POT-LX1, in a cloudy environment early in the morning and a few hours from sunset. The horizontal photographs were sized at 800 X 600 pixels and the vertical ones at 600 X 700 pixels to maintain the originality and quality of the images. No filters and other level effect were applied for contrast.
