Keep Your Life Positive Without Toxic From Social Media

Don't Let Social Media.jpg

Have you ever really stopped checking various social media accounts, from Twitter to Instagram and Facebook?

To be honest I have stopped checking social media which is not productive for me. My principle is simple. If I spend more time on the platform and earn nothing for my life, then I should stop using it.

Currently, I no longer check my Instagram account. And I went through big changes for that. I have more time to listen to the ideas in my head and produce more work.

To be honest, Instagram was once an addicting thing for me, so I had to uninstall the application. At least until later, I need Instagram again to promote my work.

For Facebook, I closed my account years ago.

As for Twitter, I still need it to get more attention for food content and blockchain.

From Twitter I also get more valid information and Twitter doesn't make me addicted. I can still control when to look at Twitter and when not. It's important for my mental health.

I don't want social media to suck in too much of my positive energy.

Overthinking and Reduce Believe in Ourselves

Excessive use of social media will make us think too much. We often compare this and that. Even though we also know that social media is different from reality in real life.

We will be treated to too many things that are fun and beautiful, but we do not realize they have also done a lot to be able to present such things.

The worst condition is that we can become victims of the cyber-bully or we bully a user because they have different looks or thoughts.

We can become distrustful of ourselves when we see a lot of great people on social media. We feel that they are not as great as they appear on social media. Even though we don't have to be great at appearing on social media because we each have our abilities.

Be aware of the Social Media Environment

We can stay environmental on our social media away from things that drain our energy. It all depends on us. We can stay in a positive circle and only follow accounts that have content for positive changes in your life.

I recommend that you stop following or joining forums that do not provide any benefits or just increase your number of followers.

Because the health of your social media accounts will have a direct effect on your mental health. Don't let social media drain your focus.

You can start pausing to use social media if you start to lose a lot of productive time or there are bad changes in your lifestyle. You have to be sensitive to yourself to know the bad effects of social media on your life. Because many users often don't realize that their lives have been influenced by social media too much.

Stay positive and feel grateful!
