REUSING A TOP: Ladies boxer.

Our model is modest so she used a lycra below.

With a simple top you can do a number of things, but this time I want to share one of my sewing adventures. A simple boxer for women that can be made a couple of scissor cuts and with a tape measure.

STEP 1:

We have our top base, and we cut it in half to obtain one of the halves that is what interests us. It is convenient and necessary that the front part be a little shorter than the back. You can use the measurement that I use, "Two Fingers" shorter than the back part.

STEP 2:

We fold our piece in half, as you can see in the image and make a cut of three to four "Fingers", (It's funny if, but it works). Once the piece is unfolded you can better appreciate.

STEP 3:

We measure as you see in the image, this can give you a measurement of 15 to 20 cm of logitus, here if we need precision. It has measured 15cm for me, therefore I am going to cut a piece of cloth 15cm high x 10cm long.

STEP 4:

Once measured and cut, we must make sure it is correct. We proceed to do the sewing (Remember that when you do the sewing you must do it on the right side against the right side)

Do you see the progress? The front is already cooked, now it's time to cook the back

STEP 5:

You have to maneuver a little so that everything is correct and once the back is cooked we proceed to cut the excess fabric to leave everything neat.

In this transformation process we start with a top and in a few cuts and in a few stitches we have transformed it into a boxer for women.

Let's say that in a post-apocalyptic setting where it is not possible to get comfortable underwear, at least you who saw this post will be able to make yourself a pair.
