Hace poco hice una publicación dando a conocer la movida peruana con respecto a revalorizar el idioma Quechua en Perú, por medio de la música. Hoy quiero continuar esa temática, pero esta vez, con un repertorio musical fuera de tierras peruanas; veremos las diversas movidas en los diferentes lugares en los que el idioma quechua esta luchando por ser también predominante.
No quiero hacer largo y tedioso este post, porque quiero dar a conocer lo que más se pueda de la música de los diferentes lugares que hablan este bello idioma. Desearía puedan leer la publicación anterior en la que ahondo un poco más en las cifras y detalles sobre el quechua, dejare al final el link. Sin más, empecemos con este gran repertorio.
Greetings Hive friends.I recently made a publication publicizing the Peruvian move with respect to revaluing the Quechua language in Peru, through music. Today I want to continue that theme, but this time, with a musical repertoire outside of Peruvian lands; We will see the various movements in the different places where the Quechua language is struggling to also be predominant.I do not want to make this post long and tedious, because I want to make known as much as possible about the music of the different places that speak this beautiful language. I wish you could read the previous publication in which I delve a little more into the figures and details about Quechua, I will leave the link at the end. Without further ado, let's start with this great repertoire.
Willian Luna-Perú.
Compositor, cantante y productor musical, nació en la ciudad del Cusco, capital arqueológica del Perú, una ciudad muy enraizada con la cultura andina y por ende con el quechua. A sus 52 años tiene una larga trayectoria musical, llevando su música romántica por casi toda Latinoamérica; desde Perú, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, México, R. Dominicana, Estados Unidos y Canadá.
Con sus fusiones musicales e instrumentales como zampoña, guitarras acústicas y eléctricas, quenas, charangos, arpas, entre otros instrumentos; y su profunda difusión del quechua, hacen de este cantautor uno de los mas representativos de la música peruana e incluso de la música andina latinoamericana, por sus baladas románticas y nostálgicas.
Willian Luna-Perú.Composer, singer and music producer, he was born in the city of Cusco, the archaeological capital of Peru, a city deeply rooted in the Andean culture and therefore with Quechua. Kanaku y el Tigre-Perú.
"Kanaku y el Tigre" es una banda de folk psicodélico peruana formada en el año 2010, con solo dos amigos como integrantes, para luego formar una gran banda, incluso con una mujer como baterista. Con unos sonidos inclasificables e encasillables, sus letras profundas y melancólicas sobre el amor y sociedad nos transportan a una nostalgia terrible, al oírla. Si bien es cierto, este grupo no se centra en la música quechua, si no más bien en la diversidad, incluso con canciones en ingles, también lleva en alto su profunda cultura peruana, regalándonos una rola con temática andina inolvidable, y esa es "Manos de Araña".
Kanaku y el Tigre-Perú."Kanaku y el Tigre" is a Peruvian psychedelic folk band formed in 2010, with only two friends as members, to later form a great band, even with a woman as a drummer. With unclassifiable and pigeonhole sounds, its deep and melancholic lyrics about love and society transport us to a terrible nostalgia, upon hearing it. Although it is true, this group does not focus on Quechua music, but rather on diversity, even with songs in English, it also carries its deep Peruvian culture high, giving us an unforgettable Andean-themed song, and that is " Spider Hands ".
Pascuala Ilabaca-Chile.
Con tan solo 35 años de edad, es una cantante y compositora chilena, se caracteriza como dice la critica, descrita como: "Composición contemporánea, de las tradiciones étnicas del mundo y la raíz folclórica chilena". Complementa los géneros del Neofolk, Worldbeat y Indie rock con los sonidos andinos y en especial fusiona sus letras con el idioma español y quechua.
Pascuala Ilabaca-Chile.With only 35 years of age, she is a Chilean singer and songwriter, characterized as the critic says, described as: "Contemporary composition, of the ethnic traditions of the world and the Chilean folk roots". It complements the genres of Neofolk, Worldbeat and Indie rock with Andean sounds and especially fuses its lyrics with the Spanish and Quechua languages.
Alcoholika La Christo & Luzmila Carpio-Bolivia.
En esta ocasión presentamos la unión de dos grandes exponentes en su respectivo genero en Bolivia. En primer lugar tenemos a "Alcoholika La Christo", es una banda de género industrial metal de Bolivia, se formó en la ciudad de La Paz en la década de los 90s, vigentes hoy en día. Con esa característica principal de los metaleros, todos góticos y con melena larga; se nos hace increíble como logran fusionar el metal con sonidos característicos de los andes como quenas y zampoñas, y que aunque no todas sus rolas son interpretadas con el quechua, sí podemos decir que revalorizan su cultura con cantos de protestas sociales, incluso llamando a la rebelión.
Y Luzmila Carpio oriunda de Potosí, una eminencia en su genero y por ende en su país Bolivia, es una cantante de música andina, reconocido por sus tonos altos que imitan al canto de los pájaros. Artista vigente desde los años 70s; les confieso que al oírla y empaparme sobre esta verdadera exponente musical, me hizo recordar a Yma Sumac, reconocida soprano peruana que se paseo por todo el mundo. Con ese recuerdo, y semejanza me puedo hacer una idea de lo gran artista que es Luzmila, recomendadisima.
Alcoholika La Christo & Luzmila Carpio-BoliviaOn this occasion we present the union of two great exponents in their respective genre in Bolivia. In the first place we have "Alcoholika La Christo", it is an industrial metal genre band from Bolivia, formed in the city of La Paz in the 90s, in force today. With that main characteristic of metalheads, all goths and with long hair; It is incredible to us how they manage to fuse metal with characteristic sounds of the Andes such as quenas and panpipes, and that although not all their songs are interpreted with Quechua, we can say that they revalue their culture with songs of social protests, even calling for the rebellion.And Luzmila Carpio, a native of Potosí, an eminence in her genre and therefore in her country Bolivia, is an Andean music singer, recognized for her high tones that imitate the song of birds. Current artist since the 70s; I confess that listening to her and soaking up this true musical exponent reminded me of Yma Sumac , a renowned Peruvian soprano who walked all over the world. With that memory, and similarity, I can get an idea of how great an artist Luzmila is, highly recommended.
Nación Rap-Bolivia.
Un trio de amigos unidos por la música desde el 2007, unos jóvenes humildes y emprendedores, con sus letras de protesta social, nos pintan la sociedad de Bolivia y la herencia que hoy tienen. Algo muy curioso es que este grupo es un ejemplo de integración, pues en sus canciones une los diversos idiomas como el español, el quechua, el aimara y si eso no fuera suficiente tiene colaboraciones con raperos de otros idiomas como daneses, suizos, etc.
Nación Rap-Bolivia.A trio of friends united by music since 2007, humble and enterprising young people, with their lyrics of social protest, paint the Bolivian society and the heritage they have today. Something very curious is that this group is an example of integration, because in its songs it unites the various languages such as Spanish, Quechua, Aymara and if that was not enough, it has collaborations with rappers from other languages such as Danish, Swiss, etc.
BoomBapKillaz-Ecuador.
Mas que un artista o un grupo, es un movimiento de la movida Hip hop, es un proyecto que busca sacar a la luz el verdadero talento del rap ecuatoriano. Revalorizando su cultura y dentro de ella el idioma quechua. Compuesta por diversos artistas del medio, dan oportunidad a muchos a expresar sus sentimientos y emociones en una canción, y en sus videos están compuestas por uno, otro y por diversos raperos protagonistas de su genero y estilo.
BoomBapKillaz-Ecuador.More than an artist or a group, it is a movement in the style of Hip hop, it is a project that seeks to bring to light the true talent of Ecuadorian rap. Revaluing their culture and within it the Quechua language. Composed by various artists of the medium, they give the opportunity to many to express their feelings and emotions in a song, and in their videos they are composed by one, the other, and by various leading rappers of their genre and style. .
De esta manera queridos Hivers, he tratado de ser lo más conciso posible para poder entregar un buen repertorio, de los diversos países en la cual van desarrollando, de manera independiente esta ardua lucha por revalorar su cultura y tradiciones; y así poder de algún modo, alzar su voz de protesta para llamar la atención y decir al mundo que aquí seguimos firmes.
Finalmente, quedo un poco apenado pues en mi búsqueda de exponentes del genero, no pude encontrar información de las naciones de argentina y Colombia, aunque en esta ultima sí, pero esta es algo especial, que quizás puede dar para un tercer capitulo de este post. Espero la verdad puedan entrar este repertorio musical independiente, y créanme que no se arrepentirán. Sin más me despido.
