Seré breve, la difamación está ganando más terreno en nuestra sociedad. Cada vez son más las personas que difunden informaciones falsas solo por hacer daño. La mentira es un arma poderosa, y más cuando está envenenada con alegatos que buscan afectar el bienestar de un individuo. Como seres que piensan y reflexionan somos capaces de crear historias, aunque en ocasiones nuestra lengua se vuele peligrosa y astuta como una serpiente que sisea para hipnotizar a su presa. Digamos que, la envidia, la ira y el egoísmo se combinan para formar una sopa amarga de testimonios destructivos. Ten cuidado con tu boca, piensa antes de hablar, si te envuelves en una farsa con la intención de generar daño, puedes incluso meterte en problemas serios con la ley.
Gracias a las redes sociales nos podemos conectar con el mundo. Interactuamos traspasando las barreras del idioma y la geografía, y con un solo clic ponemos descubrir las noticias más interesantes de alguna personalidad en específico. Sin embargo, el internet también tiene sus lados negativos, y con esto me refiero a la propagación de informaciones de procedencia dudosa que apuntan a desacreditar y por ende a injuriar a una persona. Las plataformas digitales han servido como un puente para las calumnias y el ataque directo a la dignidad. Vemos como algunos individuos, muchas veces ocultos bajo el anonimato, utilizan Youtube, Twitter o Instagram para lanzar ataques ofensivos que solo buscan denigrar la integridad.

Be careful with your mouth, think before you speak, if you get involved in a charade with the intention of causing harm, you can even get in serious trouble with the law.

We interact crossing the barriers of language and geography, and with a single click we can discover the most interesting news of a specific personality. However, the internet also has its negative sides, and by this I mean the spread of information of dubious origin that aims to discredit and therefore injure a person. Digital platforms have served as a bridge for slander and direct attack on dignity. We see how some individuals, often hidden under anonymity, use YouTube, Twitter or Instagram to launch offensive attacks that only seek to denigrate integrity.

Digamos que la difamación es esa mala amiga de la lengua que, impulsada bajo la envidia o el resentimiento, se dispara armando un lenguaje destructivo en contra de algún individuo inocente de tales acusaciones. Cuando la mentira es premeditada, las consecuencias pueden ser catastróficas. Es como si alguien dijera que Spider-man en realidad es pervertido que acosa a los indefensos. De alguna manera eso causará una reacción negativa en las personas, porque la duda siempre será parte de nuestros pensamientos. Por ende, aunque Spider-man sea realmente inocente ya nadie lo verá como el mismo héroe, y por ende, su integridad caerá hasta el suelo.
Difamar es asesinar verbalmente, pero lo peor es que creamos en ese testimonio dudoso que solo tiene el objetivo de destruir y socavar. Cuando nos convertimos en agentes multiplicadores de los alegatos que desacreditan a un individuo también estamos difamando, sencillamente porque estamos masificando esas falsedades que atentan contra el bienestar y la tranquilidad social de una determinada persona. O sea, no podemos andar creyendo todo lo que nos dicen y mucho menos cuando las fuentes de información son evidentemente cuestionables. La difamación en un aspecto muy delicado, incluso, e castiga con la cárcel. Es por ello que debemos tener muy claro que emitir alegatos repletos de calumnias e injurias de alguna manera u otra, también nos terminará perjudicando.
