Yesterday I was having my coffee while I was watching the news when suddenly, a report appears of some 16-year-old adolescents who had to sell their bodies to be able to pay for their home finances. I almost spit out the coffee from the shock that hit my senses.

The answer speaks for itself: injustice, inequality, poverty, poor quality of life, sadness, suffering and lack of love.
La prostitución es un negocio sucio, perverso y oscuro, que seduce para manchar las almas y atormentarlas, y para rodearlas de soledad. ¿Cuál es la causa de que algunas personas les pongan precio a su piel? La respuesta habla por sí sola: la injusticia, la desigualdad, la pobreza, la mala calidad de vida, la tristeza, el sufrimiento y la falta de amor.
It is sad, because if we lived in a world with more equality for all and with a better quality of life, today there would be no sadness and therefore, bad roads such as prostitution. That is why I cannot judge the people who take that path, because perhaps there is a more bitter undertone to their choice.
Es triste, porque si viviéramos en un mundo con más igualdad para todos y con más calidad de vida, hoy no existiera la tristeza y por ende, malos caminos como la prostitución. Es por ello que no puedo juzgar a las personas que toman ese sendero, porque quizás hay un trasfondo más amargo en su elección.
I can't stop thinking about those teenagers who at the age of 16 had to choose prostitution to bring something to eat home. Their situation is so critical that sometimes they accept food as a form of payment ... which makes me wonder, what has made us so indifferent?
No dejo de pensar en esas adolecentes que con 16 años tuvieron que elegir la prostitución para llevar algo de comer a su casa. Es tan crítica su situación, que a veces aceptan comida como forma de pago… lo que me hace pensar ¿qué nos ha hecho tan indiferentes?
Many times we worry about criticizing instead of helping. If we were more supportive and less indifferent, today our world would turn in the opposite direction. We have to make a lot of effort to rescue our society ... I still think that there is still hope to do so.
Muchas veces nos preocupamos por criticar en lugar de ayudar. Si fuéramos más solidarios y menos indiferentes, hoy nuestro mundo viraría en una dirección contraria. Nos toca hacer mucho esfuerzo para rescatar nuestra sociedad… yo sigo pensando que aún hay esperanzas para hacerlo.
