Hoy, es el turno de,Mary Shelley. Esta escritora, ensayista y biografa británica, creo una de las obras más famosas en la historia. Hija de la feminista y escritora Mary Wollstorncraft.

Tuvo la mejor educación por su padre William Godwin filósofo y novelista , ya que su madre murió, al ella nacer, Tuvo 3 hermanastros. Ella fue muy vivaz y fiel defensora de las obras de su madre y la revolución del feminismo.

Su obra principal, "Frankenstein o el eterno prometeo " salió en 1818, en anonimato, con un prólogo de su esposo. Fue en unas vacaciones de verano en ginebra, Suecia, que Mary le dio vida a esta historia de ciencia ficción. Su esposo el poeta Percy Shelley Fue reconocido por su poesía y pensamientos libre sobre la política, quien admiraba a William Godwin, su suegro años más tarde.

Tuvo 4 hijos y sólo sobrevivió uno, Percy Florence Shelley, alejado de las profesión de familia, estudio derecho. Mary Shelley murió a los 53 años de un cáncer cerebral.
