#dBuzz is my recent favorite interface on #HIVE! Microblogging by nature incentives brief messages with as much information in as less words as possible.

All of d.buzz posts are short microblogs with a maximum of 280 characters per post. It's a HIVE-based Twitter. I used to read all posts on latest section. Now I just read a few of them. Say "Hi" if you meet me on my sub account: @ahmadmangazap!

I wrote many compilations of dBuzz posts over the last two weeks. I decided to move away from General Compilations to more specific, community or tag-based ones: This is the second article in this format!

As usual: There's no minimum quality or standard for these posts. I just found them interesting or informative. In some way, they stood-out to me enough to compile together:

Today's Topic: Corona Virus

For those reading from the future, we are currently living a pandemic with a virus called Corona/COVID-19. It started late in 2019 and covered the whole world in 2020. The year is ending the COVID-19 doesn't show any sign of stopping. The illness itself is not more lethal than Flu, but it spreads in a very alarming rate in a world that's not prepared for something like it.

Many people are talking about this pandemic so d.buzz is naturally full of people mentioning it every now and then.

NOTE: No one can dismiss the importance of COVID-19 knowledge these days, but this is a compilation of people's opinions so don't take any of the information below as a fact! Some of the buzzes below are over a week old. Things have changed since then.

Reminder:
If you test positive for covid, please tell the people you have been with.
Don't pretend it isn't happening even if you have no symptoms.
Act accordingly. Behave properly : )

Denial is the first step when hit by a big loss like death or a terminal illness. Sadly, many people are stuck at that step for too long...

I'm hearing, "Front line health care workers will get the vaccine first." But, I'm seeing many staged vaccinations of politicians and various non-health administrators. Hmm.

Well, we don't know for sure if the health care workers got the vaccine before them though. Wanted to put this here because it's related to COVID-19 and to make you think about the topic.

There are studies for more than a hundred Coronavirus vaccines in the world. I think the best part of this is that there will be more than one vaccine. And more people will be able to get the vaccine.

Sadly it also means more people will become test subjects for these vaccines. I do think vaccines are a good thing though! I wish that they're tested more before giving them to public...

Covid19 case status in India. So far total confirmed cases count is 10075116 and 9636487 has been recoverd from decease. Total active cases are 292518. Till now 146111 persons Deceased.
Five passengers from UK flight are detected positive today...

Another local shows their region statistics. I hate this but I began to feel startled every time I hear UK in a topic about Covid lately...

Yesterday got one extra cautious and covid-afraid patient. He came with cold and cough. My habit is to see a patient's throat, who comes with respiratory symptoms. So, when I told to remove his mask, he just refused.

He didn't want to breathe without a mask.

It must be hard being a general purpose doctor in Covid times. I suggest you read the comments on this buzz too. There's some cultural subtext that foreigners might find hard to understand...

Nobody knows yet if the recently developed vaccines are effective agaist the new superspreader coronavirus variant. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/12/21/europe/new-variant-coronavirus-intl-hnk/index.html

aaaand someone finally says it!

@gabbynhice's Buzz [Link]

My second covid-19 test was done today sice every 2 weeks I have to make it to be able to cross the boarders in EU. And its negative :) But i am really worry since next year the EU is planning to make a mass vaccination :(

I'm worried about the mass vaccination yet. I'm really happy that @gannynchice is taking the test every two weeks and it's still negative. Keep caution!

So, that's what I have today!
~ For now, I wish you all a productive day/night ~

@chrisrise what do you think about this one? Some buzzes were pretty old. Probably need another week or two to find #Covid-19 posts that fill out another one..

Thanks for including my one of the posts in your compilation.

It is indeed a nice initiative to compile posts on a specific topic. Good thinking.

I was thinking what will make someone want to read the compilation if they don't know what to expect? This is my current answer, though I feel I need a better way than this!
