Newbies Initiative

It took me a while, but I found the time to do this post. I want to thank @starstrings01 for setting the basis for this initiative. I'm getting inspired by his work, and I'm adding my style or my touch.

This post will include both the goals for the month and some basic recommendations for new users. Let's start!

Iniciativa para novatos

He tardado un poco, pero he sacado tiempo para hacer este post. Quiero agradecer a @starstrings01 por sentar las bases de esta iniciativa. Me estoy inspirando en su trabajo, y estoy añadiendo mi estilo o mi toque.

Este post incluirá tanto los objetivos del mes como algunas recomendaciones básicas para los nuevos usuarios. ¡Empecemos!

Hive Goals

Let's talk about goals. In any entrepreneurship, it's essential to set goals, and it's no different with HIVE. If we want to grow, we need to set goals and objectives. For this part of the Newbies Initiative task, you will need to answer two questions:

  • Which are your HIVE goals by the end of the month?
  • How do you plan to achieve them?

I will share an example. With @aliento, we have the following goals and a plan to achieve them.

  • By the end of the month, we want to achieve 20,000 HivePower in total.
  • We will achieve that by posting original content and by powering up as much HIVE as possible.
Metas de HIVE

Hablemos de los objetivos. En cualquier emprendimiento, es esencial establecer metas, y no es diferente con HIVE. Si queremos crecer, necesitamos establecer metas y objetivos. Para esta parte de la tarea de la Iniciativa para Novatos, tendrás que responder a dos preguntas:

  • ¿Cuáles son tus objetivos en HIVE para finales de mes?
  • ¿Cómo piensas alcanzarlos?

Voy a compartir un ejemplo. Con @aliento, tenemos los siguientes objetivos y un plan para alcanzarlos.

  • Para finales de mes, queremos conseguir 20,000 HivePower en total.
  • Lo conseguiremos publicando contenido original y potenciando todo el HIVE que podamos.

Basic Recommendations

I'm not going to lie to you, and there are many things that you need to learn about HIVE. My recommendation is always to ask if you have doubts. Trust me; there are no dumb questions. Now I'm going to share some suggestions and also share some guides.

  • Post only original content.
  • Always source your content and be sure that you have permission to use the images or text. They should have a license that marks them free to use.
  • Make your content visible pretty. Check this HTML and Markdown Guide.
  • Publish in the correct communities. Explore them here.
  • Never post your content twice. We've found some newbies who have been posting the same article in two or more communities. DON'T do this, your account could be blacklisted, and you could lose the rewards of all your pending posts.

Recomendaciones Básicas

No te voy a mentir, y hay muchas cosas que tienes que aprender sobre el HIVE. Mi recomendación es que siempre preguntes si tienes dudas. Confía en mí; no hay preguntas tontas. Ahora voy a compartir algunas sugerencias y también voy algunas guías.

  • Publica sólo contenido original.
  • Siempre agrega las fuentes de tu contenido y asegúrate de que tienes permiso para usar las imágenes o el texto. Deben tener una licencia que los marque como libres de usar.
  • Haz que tu contenido sea visualmente bello. Consulta esta guía de HTML y Markdown.
  • Publica en las comunidades correctas. Explóralas aquí.
  • Nunca publiques tu contenido dos veces. Hemos encontrado algunos novatos que han publicado el mismo artículo en dos o más comunidades. NO hagas esto, tu cuenta podría entrar en una lista negra, y podrías perder las recompensas de todos tus artículos pendientes.

Requirements

  • Set your rewards to 100% Hive Power to grow your account and solve possible issues with Resource Credits. I can explain how settings can do that if you don´t know.

For this months, this will be optional because, at the moment, HBD is over $1.00, so you may want to sell those HBDs to earn more HIVE. Contact me if you have questions about this.

  • Participating newbies are expected to publish often, at least one post a day. This is possible to attain. That's why we would like to recommend you joining The 30 Days Blogging Challenge hosted by The Blogging Challenge Community which would help to achieve the goal of daily blogging on Hive.

  • Posts made by participating newbies are advised to be shared in the SMILE DISCORD SERVER in #newbies-initiative-posts under the "ALIENTO" category newbies can engage with each other by commenting on shared posts. We will be on the lookout for healthy comments and supporting them through upvotes or tips via the @peakd tipping system.

Requisitos

  • Establece tus recompensas al 100% Hive Power para hacer crecer tu cuenta y resolver posibles problemas con los Créditos de Recursos. Si no lo sabes, puedo explicarte cómo hacer la configuración.

Excellent initiative eddie, it is a very good thing to do things like this for the newbies because for me I can say that when you enter a totally different world you have no idea what you are doing and you tend to make a lot of mistakes.

I will promote this initiative as well.

Me parece muy alentadora esta iniciativa. Cualquier newbie puede participar? Pregunto porque veo que al final del post hace mención a algunos. Yo soy nueva publicando y estoy algo perdida. No entiendo mucho lo del HP y su aumento, así como lo que indicas del discord...pero ya iré aprendiendo. Por lo pronto seguiré su cuenta y las recomendaciones que dan: eso de participar en los challenger diarios creo que le serviría mucho a los nuevos como yo... Excelente sugerencia, Gracias!

El post está muy instructivo. La verdad es que pertenecer a la comunidad es increíble porque se siente el apoyo. Tu trabajo lo vale y ellos lo reconocen. Y aunque tenga pocos días en esta plataforma no he parado de instruirme, hay cosas que me parecen aún muy confusas como la manera de redactar dentro de la plataforma, los comandos, los hive y hbd, hasta el discord me sigue pareciendo confuso a veces pero ahí seguimos aprendiendo 💜 Gracias por estas iniciativas que nos motivan a dar siempre lo mejor de nosotros y no darnos por vencidos en nuestras metas 💕

Hola @andreaag21. Así es, al principio es mucha información. Pero es importante que no dejes de aprender y que puedas poner en práctica todo lo antes posible para vencer esa curva se aprendizaje.

La verdad es que aún después de 3 años sigo aprendiendo, pero ya no es tan difícil como al principio.

Guiando paso a paso a los novatos, dando ejemplos claros y concisos, realmente la mejor manera de aprender es preguntar, ya tengo 10 meses acá y hay cosas que desconozco, por ejemplo, hacer publicaciones cómo está en dos columnas, jajaja, pero trabajando desde el celular, para mi era más fácil en dos bloques.

Las guías de @victoriabsb son muy buenas, existen muchas, creadas en #Hive por varios compañeros, yo misma he descubierto algunas y cree una publicación o publicaciones hace un tiempo con el propósito de que sirvieran de guía a novatos y no tan novatos, siempre hay algo que aprender.

Gracias @aliento, por tomarse el tiempo de ir guiando a estos novatos, yo prácticamente aprendí a los golpes, preguntado, con ensayo y error, pero encontré personas maravillosas que respondieron y aún responden mis dudas, además de darme consejos de manera desinteresada. Saludos a todo el equipo

Y es cierto, todavía nos falta mucho por aprender, a todos. Creo que aunque aprendiéramos todo lo que hay que aprender no terminaríamos porque HIVE sigue innovando y se van lanzando cosas nuevas.

Gracias, tengo una meta, es llegar a Delfín este año y para ello debo continuar incrementando mi HP, por otro lado creó que una manera de retribuir lo recibido en #Hive es compartir lo que se a otros, eso me llena me hace sentir útil.
