Going out with friends and some crazy dogs

Hello friends of the Liketu community on the Hive platform! I hope your Sunday is going great! Today I want to share with you an outing that ended almost in a photo shoot to some very nice doggies that were next to a table where we were eating.

After a few months I got together with some friends from a postgraduate course, Marián and Flor, and we went to dinner at a very well known street in Mendoza called "Arístides". Arístides Villanueva street has historically been very well known, well, after the vineyards were removed from the area.

It was always a place that symbolized power, money, high position. Well-known people of the city lived there, mainly politicians, like on Emilio Civit Street. However, with the expansion of the city of Mendoza, the people of power went to newer places and this street remained as a reference of what is known as Quinta Sección.

Over time, it began to be oriented to tourism and gastronomy, so today it is one of the busiest places in the city, especially at night.

Yesterday, with these friends, we acted like most Mendocinas and tourists, and organized a get together there, in a place called "Almacén de Pizzas", recommended by a friend.

I often forget to take pictures around town, but last night I intended to take some shots to share on Hive. During dinner it was very difficult, because we talked about very personal things, as it had been a long time since we had seen each other. However, when we finished eating, we relaxed and I was able to grab the phone. Or rather, I had to! Because behind us there was a caravan (a mobile home) of some travelers, where there were two little dogs inside.

We noticed them because they started to lean out of the window. First one came out, which already looked beautiful. And then the other one appeared. You could see the two little heads on top of each other sticking out of the tiny window.

Of course I took shots of the beautiful little animals, and also some shots of what the sidewalk looked like. I also asked to take a picture of the three of us so I could share with you 😊.

Juntada con amigas y unos perritos locos

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Liketu en la plataforma de Hive! Espero que su domingo vaya de mil maravillas! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una salida que terminó casi en una sesión de fotos a unos perritos sumamente simpáticos que se encontraban al lado de una mesa en donde estábamos comiendo.

Desoués de unos meses me junté con unas amigas de un posgrado, Marián y Flor, y fuimos a cenar a una calle muy conocida de Mendoza que se llama “Arístides”. La calle Arístides Villanueva ha sido históricamente muy conocida, bueno, después de que se eliminaran los viñedos de la zona.

Siempre fue un lugar que simbolizaba el poder, el dinero, la alta posición. Allí vivían personas muy reconocidas de la ciudad, políticos principalmente, como en la calle Emilio Civit. Sin embargo, con la expansión de la ciudad de Mendoza, las personas de poder se fueron a lugares más nuevos y esta calle quedó como referente de lo que se conoce como Quinta Sección.

Con el tiempo, empezó a orientarse al turismo y a la gastronomía, por lo que hoy en día es uno de los lugares más concurridos de la ciudad, sobre todo en las noches.

Ayer, con estas amigas, actuamos como la mayoría de Mendocinas y turistas, y organizamos una juntada allí, en un local que se llama “Almacén de Pizzas”, que recomendó una amiga.

A menudo olvido tomar fotos por la ciudad, pero anoche tenía la intención de hacer algunas tomas para compartir en Hive. Durante la cena fue muy difícil, porque hablamos de temas muy personales, ya que hacía mucho tiempo que no nos veíamos. Sin embargo, cuando terminamos de comer, nos relajamos y pude agarrar el teléfono. Mejor dicho, ¡tuve que hacerlo! Ya que detrás nuestro había una caravana (una casita rodante) de unos viajeros, en donde habían dos perritos dentro.

Los notamos porque se empezaron a asomar por la ventana. Primero salió uno, que ya se veía hermoso. Y luego apareció el otro. Se veían las dos cabecitas una sobre la otra saliendo por la ínfima ventana.

Claro que hice tomas de los bellos animalitos, y además algunas de cómo se veía la vereda. También pedí que nos sacaran una foto a las tres para poder compartir con ustedes 😊.
