Anche in The Great c'è un pò d'Italia, essendo la serie stata girata largamente alla reggia di Caserta.

The Great è forse la serie più irriverente e originale dell'anno, avendo avuto la pretesa di raccontarci l'ascesa della leggendaria Caterina la Grande ma in una veste completamente diversa dai toni solenni a cui ci hanno abituato altre produzioni.

Giovane e bellissima grazie al volto della Fanning, semplicemente stupenda in questo ruolo, Caterina giunge in Russia dove incontrerà lo Zar Pietro, essere riprorevole e bambinesco al quale sarà promessa in sposa.

Da qui si dipaneranno trame di palazzo, sotterfugi e piani per portare Caterina sul trono e liberarsi dell'incapacità e l'autodistruzione di Pietro.

Divertentissima ma anche capace di rappresentare bene quel periodo.

Kidding

Kidding sembra essere stata scritta apposta per Jim Carrey, anzi, qualcuno potrebbe dire che Kidding è Jim Carrey.

La storia di un uomo rimasto bambino e che i bambini allieta ogni giorno con le sue storie, la sua maschera, il suo sorriso e i suoi pupazzi.
