Essi furono i Golden Globe
Si è celebrata qualche settimana fa l'edizione "covid" dei Golden Globes, ambitissimi premi cinematografici che anticipano gli Oscar e che da qualche tempo provano a fare lo stesso anche a livello seriale grazie a numerose categorie nelle quali vengono premiati i migliori prodotti ed i migliori attori dell'anno seriale.
Il 2020 è stato un anno molto ricco di novità e conferme nel mondo della TV.
Commentare i vincitori senza commentare le nominations è difficile ma fortunatamente avevo scritto un post articolato all'epoca e che oggi mi permette semplicemente di fare un bel copia e incolla e linkarlo qui.
Avevo mostrato un certo entusiasmo come avrete notato, un entusiasmo generato più dall'istintivo apprezzamento per il coinvolgimento di serie tv sin lì di nicchia come The Great, Ted Lasso e Normal People, che causato dalla solida convinzione che i Golden Globes avessero davvero incluso i migliori all'interno delle varie categorie.
I vincitori dell'altra notte ci ricordano che sì, sono stati premiati alcuni fra i migliori prodotti e personaggi dell'anno, ma no siamo ancora lontani dalla perfezione.
Il vincitore indiscusso della serata è stato The Crown che ha fatto man bassa di premi grazie sia alle interpretazioni di Emma Corrin, Josh O'Connor e la strepitosa Gillian Anderson ma grazie soprattutto ad un'impianto scenico e narrativo portentoso che ha portato la serie di Peter Morgan a raggiungere vette inesplorate nella stagione 4.
Schitt's Creek è stata , giustamente, premiata ampiamente cosi come La regina degli scacchi che, invece e come saprete, da queste parti non è stata mai molto osannata sebbene sia comunque ampiamente piaciuta come testimonia la recensione fatta qualche mese fa.
La sorpresona che non ti aspetti ma che allieta la giornata è relativa a Ted Lasso.
Il baffuto coach dell'AFC Richmond è riuscito a conquistare la statuetta come migliore allenatore, pardon attore, dell'anno in una serie comedy. Mark Ruffalo, ode e gloria a lui, stravince nella categoria drama ed è cosa buona e giusta.
Boyega e Small Axe sono stati l'altra grande sorpresa. Resta l'amaro in bocca per non aver visto nulla di importante nelle mani dello splendido The Great ed il solito rammarico per lo snobbismo nei confronti di Better Call Saul, senza alcun dubbio la migliore serie tv del 2020. The Mandalorian a bocca asciutta si consola con il primato assoluto nel cuore della gente e vissero tutti e felici e contenti.

I showed some enthusiasm as you may have noticed, an enthusiasm generated more by an instinctive appreciation for the involvement of hitherto niche TV series like The Great, Ted Lasso and Normal People, than caused by a solid belief that the Golden Globes had really included the best in the various categories.
Last night's winners remind us that yes, some of the best products and characters of the year were awarded, but no we are still far from perfect.
The undisputed winner of the night was The Crown, which scooped the awards thanks to the performances of Emma Corrin, Josh O'Connor and the amazing Gillian Anderson, but above all thanks to a portentous scenic and narrative structure that led Peter Morgan's series to reach unexplored heights in season 4.
Schitt's Creek was, rightly, widely rewarded as well as The Chess Queen that, however, and as you know, in these parts has never been much praised although it is still widely liked as evidenced by the review made a few months ago.
The big surprise that you do not expect but that brightens the day is related to Ted Lasso.
The moustachioed coach of AFC Richmond has managed to win the statuette as best coach, pardon me actor, of the year in a comedy series. Mark Ruffalo, ode and glory to him, overachieved in the drama category and that's a good thing.
Boyega and Small Axe were the other big surprise. Remains the bitterness in the mouth for not having seen anything important in the hands of the wonderful The Great and the usual regret for the snobbism towards Better Call Saul, without any doubt the best TV series of 2020. The Mandalorian to dry mouth consoles itself with the absolute primacy in the hearts of the people and lived happily ever after.

Se celebró hace unas semanas la edición "covid" de los Globos de Oro, codiciados premios de cine que se anticipan a los Oscar y que desde hace un tiempo intentan hacer lo mismo a nivel de serie gracias a varias categorías en las que se premian los mejores productos y los mejores actores del año de serie.
2020 ha sido un año lleno de novedades y confirmaciones en el mundo de la televisión.
Comentar los ganadores sin comentar las nominaciones es difícil pero afortunadamente había escrito un post articulado en su momento y que hoy simplemente me permite hacer un bonito copia y pega y enlazarlo aquí.
Mostré cierto entusiasmo, como habrán notado, un entusiasmo generado más por una apreciación instintiva de la participación de series de televisión hasta ahora de nicho, como Los grandes, Ted Lasso y Gente normal, que causado por una creencia sólida de que los Globos de Oro habían incluido realmente lo mejor en las distintas categorías.
Los ganadores de anoche nos recuerdan que sí, que algunos de los mejores productos y personajes del año fueron premiados, pero no, que aún estamos lejos de la perfección.
La ganadora indiscutible de la noche fue The Crown, que se llevó los premios gracias a las interpretaciones de Emma Corrin, Josh O'Connor y la increíble Gillian Anderson, pero sobre todo gracias a una portentosa estructura escénica y narrativa que llevó a la serie de Peter Morgan a alcanzar cotas inexploradas en la cuarta temporada.
Schitt's Creek fue, con razón, ampliamente premiada así como La Reina del Ajedrez que, en cambio y como sabéis, por estos lares nunca ha sido muy alabada aunque sigue gustando mucho como demuestra la crítica realizada hace unos meses.
La gran sorpresa que no se espera pero que alegra el día es sobre Ted Lasso.
El bigotudo entrenador del AFC Richmond ha conseguido ganar la estatuilla como mejor entrenador, perdón actor, del año en una serie de comedia. Mark Ruffalo, oda y gloria a él, se excedió en la categoría de drama y eso es bueno.
Boyega y Small Axe fueron la otra gran sorpresa. Queda la amargura en la boca por no haber visto nada importante de la mano de la maravillosa The Great y el habitual lamento por el esnobismo hacia Better Call Saul, sin duda la mejor serie de televisión de 2020. El mandaloriano con la boca seca se consuela con la primacía absoluta en los corazones del pueblo y vivió feliz.

L'année 2020 a été riche en nouvelles et en confirmations dans le monde de la télévision.

J'ai fait preuve d'un certain enthousiasme, comme vous l'avez peut-être remarqué, un enthousiasme généré davantage par une appréciation instinctive de l'implication de séries télévisées de niche telles que The Great, Ted Lasso et Normal People, que par une conviction solide que les Golden Globes avaient vraiment inclus les meilleurs dans les différentes catégories.
Les lauréats d'hier soir nous rappellent que oui, certains des meilleurs produits et personnages de l'année ont été récompensés, mais non, nous sommes encore loin d'être parfaits.
Le vainqueur incontesté de la soirée est The Crown, qui a remporté les prix grâce aux performances d'Emma Corrin, de Josh O'Connor et de la formidable Gillian Anderson, mais surtout grâce à une structure scénique et narrative prémonitoire qui a permis à la série de Peter Morgan d'atteindre des sommets inexplorés dans la saison 4.
Schitt's Creek a été, à juste titre, largement récompensé ainsi que The Chess Queen qui, au contraire et comme vous le savez, dans ces contrées n'a jamais été très loué bien qu'il soit encore largement apprécié comme en témoigne la critique faite il y a quelques mois.
La grande surprise à laquelle on ne s'attend pas mais qui réjouit la journée concerne Ted Lasso.

Le Mandalorien à la bouche sèche se console avec la primauté absolue dans le cœur du peuple et vit heureux pour toujours.
