     Dice la Biblia, en el libro de Génesis: 3,19 lo siguiente, cito: Con el sudor de tu rostro comerás el pan hasta que vuelvas a la tierra, porque de ella fuiste tomado; pues polvo eres, y al polvo volverás, fin de la cita. Hoy, Miércoles de Ceniza, entramos en el tiempo de Cuaresma. Tiempo litúrgico de conversión, que marca la Iglesia para prepararnos a la gran fiesta de la Pascua. Es tiempo para la reflexión, para el arrepentimiento de nuestras faltas o pecados, para acercar nuestra alma, mente y corazón a Dios y para amar al prójimo, amarnos a nosotros mismos y admirar las maravillas de la creación divina. Tiempo para meditar profundamente en la frase: ¡Acuérdate que eres polvo y en polvo te has de convertir ... al polvo regresarás! (Génesis 3, 19). Cuaresma, tiempo para cambiar y ser mejores seres humanos y poder vivir más cerca de las virtudes teologales y cardinales y de los valores cristianos. Tiempo para el perdón, para el amor, la justicia y para la paz.

The Bible says, in the book of Genesis: 3,19 the following, I quote: With the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to earth, because from it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you will return, end of appointment. Today, Ash Wednesday, we enter the season of Lent. Liturgical time of conversion, which marks the Church to prepare us for the great feast of Easter. It is time for reflection, for repentance of our faults or sins, to bring our soul, mind and heart closer to God and to love our neighbor, love ourselves and admire the wonders of divine creation. Time to meditate deeply on the phrase: Remember that you are dust and to dust you have to become ... to dust you will return! (Génesis 3, 19). Lent, a time to change and be better human beings and to be able to live closer to the theological and cardinal virtues and Christian values. Time for forgiveness, for love, justice and for peace.

     Cuaresma, 40 días que comienzan desde hoy y terminan antes de la Misa de la Cena del Señor del Jueves Santo. Cuaresma, época de compasión y caridad. Es el momento para la oración profunda y para meditar que hoy somos y mañana regresaremos al polvo de donde el Gran Alfarero Celestial nos hizo.

Lent, 40 days starting from today and ending before the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday. Lent, a time of compassion and charity. It is the time for deep prayer and to meditate that today we are and tomorrow we will return to the dust from where the Great Celestial Potter made us.

     En este tiempo litúrgico predomina el color morado como símbolo de respeto, luto y penitencia. Es una época ideal para la conversión espiritual para la contemplación y la piedad, para tomar conciencia del gran amor de Dios a los hombre, al entregar a su único hijo para redimir al mundo. Esta etapa de pascua debe servir para sensibilizar a los seres humanos ante el sacrificio de la pasión y muerte de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y para vivir a plenitud el misterio de la pascua de la resurrección... es el momento para: ¡Arrepentirse y creer en el Evangelio!

In this liturgical season, the color purple predominates as a symbol of respect, mourning and penance. It is an ideal time for spiritual conversion for contemplation and piety, to become aware of the great love of God for man, by giving his only son to redeem the world. This stage of Easter should serve to sensitize human beings to the sacrifice of the passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ and to fully live the mystery of Easter, of the resurrection ... it is time to: Repent and believe in the Gospel!
