Un buen amigo de la infancia decidió ingresar al mundo de la política y para ello se inscribió en uno de los partidos del statu quo donde las decisiones son tomadas por la cúpula que dirige esa organización partidista y no por la mayoría, siendo que ese partido se caracteriza por no ser democrático, allí siempre se impone el criterio de los que dirigen y nunca el de las bases. Pasando el tiempo mi amigo fue escalando posición dentro del partido hasta que logró ser candidato a uno de los cargos públicos dentro de la estructura municipal. En esa ocasión él decide buscarme para que yo lo apoyara en su campaña pero yo me negué, lo cierto fue que mi amigo logró un curul en la municipalidad.

A good childhood friend decided to enter the world of politics and for this he enrolled in one of the parties of the status quo where decisions are made by the leadership that runs that party organization and not by the majority, being that party characterized by not being democratic, there the criteria of those who lead always prevail and never that of the rank and file. As time went by, my friend was climbing position within the party until he managed to be a candidate for one of the public positions within the municipal structure. On that occasion he decided to seek me out so that I could support him in his campaign but I refused, the truth was that my friend won a seat in the municipality.

Ya ejerciendo el cargo municipal, mi amigo vuelve a intentar que yo formara parte de su equipo y me volví a negar dándole los mismos argumentos que le esgrimí anteriormente. Recuerdo que en esa oportunidad le reiteré mi amistad, le dije que yo era amigo de él como la persona humana que es pero mantendría el respeto y la distancia con el funcionario público. Ante esa aseveración me cuestionó diciéndome que era una contradicción mía, porque el funcionario y él eran la misma persona, a lo que le repliqué: ciertamente amigo, pero tu como persona natural, sin responsabilidad política partidista, obedeces a tu conciencia, en cambio como funcionario público, impuesto en ese cargo por tu partido político tienes que seguir la línea que la cúpula del partido te indique a la hora de tomar decisiones. Las personas cuando forman parte de una organización política, poco democrática, tienen que ser obedientes a las decisiones que se tomen en las altas esferas del poder, porque de lo contrario, caen en desgracia con sus jefes políticos hasta el punto de perder la gracia del partido y por consiguiente quedan excluidos.

When people are part of a political organization, not very democratic, they have to be obedient to the decisions made in the higher spheres of power, because otherwise, they fall out of favor with their political bosses to the point of losing the grace of the party and are therefore excluded.

Una persona auténtica obedece a su conciencia, se comporta de manera coherente con lo que piensa y siente, con lo que dice y hace en cualquier situación, definiendo así una personalidad propia, incorruptible. La autenticidad es un valor excelso y una virtud sublime de las personas de carácter, personas con solvencia moral y mucha fortaleza ética. Los pensamientos, las palabras y las obras de un ser auténtico determinan su grandeza. Por lo general son seres humanos prudentes, justos, fuertes, valientes y con mucho temple. La autenticidad en un ser humano es importante para llegar a conocerse y enfrentarse a sus emociones y sentimientos. En conclusión, un ser humano auténtico es único, obedece solo a su conciencia y se caracteriza, además, por ser una persona inteligentes, poseedor del don de la sabiduría, es un ser de sólidos principios y valores, defensor de las leyes y de los derechos humanos, el respeto y la dignidad.

Authenticity is an exalted value and a sublime virtue of people of character, people with moral solvency and a lot of ethical strength. The thoughts, words, and deeds of an authentic being determine his greatness. They are generally prudent, fair, strong, courageous human beings with a lot of mettle. Authenticity in a human being is important to get to know himself and face his emotions and feelings. In conclusion, an authentic human being is unique, obeys only his conscience and is also characterized by being a intelligent person, possessor of the gift of wisdom, is a being of solid principles and values, defender of laws and human rights, respect and dignity.
