Two cute kittens ... or rather three!

Hello friends,
Sunday I was in Torretta a small hamlet in the province of Potenza (Basilicata).
My mother was born in Torretta and some cousins and uncles to whom I am very close live here.
One of the biggest sufferings that I suffered during the lockdown was not being able to hug my uncles, my cousins and friends who live there.

When I can, and unfortunately it happens very rarely, I go to this tiny hamlet.
When I am in Torretta I breathe the air of happy and carefree memories and I am happy.

The houses and streets of the oldest part of Torretta are all in stone.

When I was a child it was a party for me to leave the city and run through these streets.
It is less festive instead the memory of some "beautiful" falls on these same stones while playing ball with my friends of the time ... :)

In the morning, my family and I go to visit a dear aunt and to the delight of my daughter we also have a tender meeting: two small black kittens, but really small.

My daughter loves kittens and would like to have one for her.
However, it is necessary to convince the mother that she does not agree so much and turns up her nose at the idea of having at home in addition to a small child and an adult child :) also a kitten that meows and wanders around the house.

After an abundant binge of pampering at the two cute kittens we say goodbye to my aunt and leave the house.
Outside we meet the mother of the kittens.

Immediately it comes towards me and rubs himself on my leg. Even the mother of the kittens is black but with a beautiful white spot on the neck.

After having lunch my daughter says to me:

Are we going to see the kittens again?

We return to my aunt and the kittens have "magically" become three.

My aunt tells me that the mother of the kittens brought the kittens into her house one at a time.
Who knows, the next time I come back to find my aunt I might find five or six kittens. :)

In the next photo I photographed the kittens while drinking breast milk.

Often the frenzy of modern life makes us forget how much happiness can be contained in small and simple things.

Two kittens ... or rather three were a pleasant parenthesis of tenderness in which I wanted to let all of you friends of Hive enter.

Ciao amici,
domenica sono stato a Torretta una piccola frazione in provincia di Potenza.
A Torretta è nata mia madre e vivono alcuni cugini e parenti a cui sono molto legato.
Una delle sofferenze maggiori che ho patito durante il lockdown è stata proprio il non poter abbracciare i miei zii, i miei cugini e gli amici che vivono lì.

Quando posso, e purtroppo succede molto di rado, mi reco in questo minuscolo centro abitato.
Quando sono a Torretta respiro aria di ricordi felici e spensierati e sono felice.

Le case e le strade della parte più antica di Torretta sono tutte in pietra.

Quando ero piccolo era una festa per me lasciare la città e correre per queste strade.
E' meno festoso invece il ricordo di alcune belle cadute su queste stesse pietre mentre giocavo a pallone con i miei amichetti dell'epoca... :)

In mattinata, io e la mia famiglia, andiamo a fare visita ad una cara zia e per la gioia di mia figlia facciamo anche un tenero incontro: due piccoli gattini neri, ma proprio piccoli.

Mia figlia adora i gattini e ne vorrebbe tanto uno anche lei.
Bisogna però convincere la mamma che non è tanto d'accordo e storce il naso all'idea di avere in casa oltre a una bimba piccola e a un bimbo adulto :) anche un gattino che miagola e gironzola per casa.

Dopo un'abbondante abbuffata di coccole ai due teneri micini salutiamo mia zia e usciamo di casa.
Fuori incontriamo la mamma dei gattini.

Subito viene verso di me e si strofina sulla mia gamba. Anche lei nera ma con una bella macchia bianca sul collo.

Dopo aver pranzato mia figlia mi dice:

Papà andiamo a vedere di nuovo i gattini?

Ritorniamo da mia zia e i gattini sono "magicamente" diventati tre.

Mi ha raccontato mia zia che la mamma dei gattini li ha portati in casa sua uno alla volta.
Chissà che la prossima volta che torno a trovare mia zia non ne trovi cinque o sei.

Nella foto successiva ho fotografato i gattini mentre bevono il latte materno.

Spesso la frenesia della vita moderna ci fa dimenticare di quanta felicità possa essere racchiusa nelle piccole e semplici cose.

Due gattini...anzi tre sono stati una piacevole parentesi di tenerezza all'interno della quale volevo fare entrare tutti voi amici di Hive.
