Questa è una pseudo recensione di un libro o, se preferite, una vera recensione di uno pseudolibro oppure, forse, meglio ancora, una pseudorecensione di uno pseudolibro.

Esce oggi ufficialmente in edizione italiana per i tipi di Ballati Bordighera il bellissimo volume "Sound Check" di C.G. Alte.
Questo prezioso volume è un'edizione veramente ricca di addenda della famosa trascrizione testuale del sound check di un gruppo musicale, di cui l'autore non ci rivela il nome.
L'unica notizia certa è che il sound check ebbe inizio alle 13:08 di un pomeriggio estivo nella Berlino nei primi anni novanta, poco dopo la riunificazione delle due germanie.
Corposo e ricco, il volume merita veramente il congruo prezzo di 47 euri.
Oltre, infatti, alle due pagine di trascrizione del sound check, cioè l'opera vera e propria, che si trovano al centro del volume, l'edizione comprende una prefazione di 19 pagine, seguita da un'analisi del contesto storico in cui avvenne il sound check stesso di ben 121 pagine, ricche di riferimenti preziosi per la contestualizzazione dell'evento.
A seguire le 82 pagine di guida alla lettura che precedono il libro vero e proprio che, come dicevamo, consta di ben due pagine.
Qui troviamo passi di letteratura pura, eccone un breve estratto:
"Sì, Sì, Sssssì. Prova... prova... AH AH Sì Sì Provaprovaprova... AhAHAHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSì."
"Mi puoi abbassare la spia?"
"AHAH SìSSSSì"
Dopo queste due intensissime pagine trova meritato spazio un percorso di approfondimento sulla significanza del testo di 58 pagine e un utile parte di compendio sui raccordi narrativi tra le varie parti dell'opera che, in sole 37 pagine, completa il lavoro certosino dell'autore sul testo stesso.
Per finire ecco un percorso iconografico che illustra, con foto e disegni, la location dove si svolse il sound check, senza però mai rivelare quale sia il gruppo musicale che lo eseguì.
Con queste 94 immagini abbiamo quel plus che arricchisce l'edizione e la rende di vero pregio.
A chiusura, e non poteva mancare, una breve analisi critica comparata in 39 pagine, dove ci viene proposto il parere dotto di una decina di esperti del settore del sound check.
Il bel volume chiude con 290 pagine di note e uno snello indice di sole 44 pagine.
Vi consiglio di correre a prenotare "Sound Check" di C.G. Alte presso la vostra libreria di fiducia, a quanto pare ne sono state tirate solo un milione e mezzo di copie e potrebbe andare esaurito in pochi giorni, vista la fame che c'è attualmente per opere di codesto livello.

The beautiful volume "Sound Check" by C.G. is officially released today in Italian edition for the types of Balati Bordighera. High.
This precious volume is a truly rich edition of the addenda of the famous textual transcription of the sound check of a musical group, of which the author does not reveal the name.
The only certain news is that the sound check began at 13:08 on a summer afternoon in Berlin in the early nineties, shortly after the reunification of the two Germanias.
Full-bodied and rich, the volume truly deserves the reasonable price of 47 euros.
