The Onion Union [EN-IT]

Hey Buddies!!

With this shot I tried to combine onions and cats, hence the name of the post which in English should make the idea, at least I hope!

The shot was quite by chance, as I was placing my onions on a piece of paper on my kitchen table, which are actually shallots, that are part of the same family, but with my future wife we don't eat onions.

In order to participate in the @kus-knee contest, I had to come up with something and I decided to arrange them in the shape of a letter "O", like the initial of the word Onion, and so I did, but soon afterwards one of my two cats appeared on the chair to keep me company and watch me and them... So I thought:

"Let's include her in the picture as well, since she seems to want to join us for the contest"... why not?

On the other hand...Union is strength!!!

Now I don't know if this participation will be good because, as I already told you, they are not onions but shallots, too acid for my taste, while these are a bit sweeter and we prefer them a lot! So let's "recycle" food, I would have never bought onions and then thrown them away and used the art to make do!

A vegetable that has many properties and benefits, including potential anti-tumor activity, especially colon, stomach and prostate cancer, it's also antihypertensive, vermifuge, expectorant, normolipidemic and antithrombotic.

But these are just some of its qualities, not bad for this food that can be used in a thousand excellent recipes or even raw!

After the shot I edited the picture with some filters to accentuate the colors, I don't know about you but it seems that my cat is staring at the onions.

So here is yet another contest of the good old Kus, who has been able to inspire me during my growth and adventure as a blogger here with you!

Con questo scatto ho cercato di unire cipolle e gatti, da qui il nome del post che in inglese dovrebbe rendere l'idea, almeno spero!

Lo scatto è risultato abbastanza casuale in quanto stavo disponendo le mie cipolle su un foglio di carta sul tavolo della mia cucina, che poi in realtà questi sono scalogni e fanno parte della stessa famiglia, ma le cipolle non le mangiamo ne io ne la mia futura moglie.

Per partecipare al contest di @kus-knee, dovevo farmi venire in mente qualcosa ed ho deciso di disporle a forma di lettera "O", come l'iniziale della parola Onion, e così ho fatto, poco dopo però è apparsa una delle mie due gatte sulla sedia a farmi compagnia ed osservare me e loro... Allora ho pensato:

Includiamo nella foto pure lei già che sembra aver voluto unirsi a noi per il contest... perché no!?

L'unione fa la forza, lo so in italiano non ha tantissimo senso questa affermazione ma il gioco di parole in inglese dovrebbe essere maggiormente comprensibile.

Adesso non so se vale questa partecipazione perché, come vi ho già detto, non sono cipolle ma scalogni, troppo acide per i miei gusti, mentre questi sono un po' più dolci e li preferiamo assai! Quindi via di riciclaggio di cibo, non avrei mai comprato delle cipolle per poi buttarle ed ho usato l'arte di arrangiarsi!

Una verdura che ha parecchie proprietà e benefici, tra i quali una potenziale attività anti-tumorale, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il cancro al colon, lo stomaco e la prostata. Inoltre è antipertensiva, vermifuga, espettorante, normolipidemizzante e antitrombotica

Ma queste sono soltanto alcune delle sue qualità, non male direi per questo alimento utilizzabile in mille ottime ricette o anche a crudo!

Dopo lo scatto ho ritoccato con qualche filtro la foto per accentuarne maggiormente i colori, non so a voi ma sembra che la mia gatta stia fissando proprio le cipolle.
