La Storia di questo grande uomo è giusto che vada raccontata, un uomo capace di grandi imprese di sfidare i propri limiti, nato nel 1966 da genitori che di certo non erano economicamente ricchi il padre era un normale idraulico e la madre lavorava come sarta, ma da buoni genitori non gli hanno mai fatto mancare nulla come farebbero dei buoni genitori che tengono al figlio, già da piccolo era innamorato della velocità, infatti il padre nel giorno del suo quattordicesimo compleanno gli regalò un kart e innamorato di quella velocità decise di utilizzare quel kart per seguire la sua passione.
Decise quindi già da piccolo di praticare ogni giorno la guida di quel kart che per lui era un sogno che si era realizzato,iniziò a competere in piccole gare regionali era diventato talmente bravo da affinare la sua tecnica alla guida che decisero di affibbiargli il nome di “Parigino” per come sapeva gestire il mezzo, nel 1982 in una competizione nazionale nonostante non avesse un mezzo altamente competitivo rispetto e i suoi avversari e avendo solo l’assistenza del padre che gli faceva da meccanico quando magari altri avevano un team di esperti a fine campionato riuscì a piazzarsi al terzo post sicuramente un grandissimo risultato per uno svantaggio del genere cosi suscitò l'interesse del proprietario di una azienda di pneumatici che decise visto il suo enorme talento di sponsorizzarlo, fu così che iniziò la sua ascesa dopo un inizio non bellissimo ebbe i suoi primi successi nelle categorie professionistiche dei kart.

Nel 1988 si avverò un altro sogno esordì in Formula 3 ebbè risultati altalenanti ma a quei livelli bisogna ovviamente oltre il talento disporre anche di una buona macchina, nello stesso anno ha conosciuto la sua attuale moglie, continuò a lottare come un guerriero fino a raggiungere l’elite delle corse la Formula 1 venne ingaggiato dalla Jordan anche li dimostrò di essere un pilota idoneo alla categoria, ma dopo un anno la stessa casa automobilistica dovette licenziarlo per gravi problemi finanziari quindi venne ingaggiato dalla Minardi,dopo essere passato anche alla Lotus e aver disputato tante gare però con una macchina non idonea per vincere.
Rimase senza un contratto ma non si è abbattuto cerco di risalire la china quindi uscì da questa esperienza della Formula 1 demotivato, decise di ritornare a lottare con i kart.
Questa scelta risulta appunto non azzeccata perché il 15 settembre 2001,Alex venne praticamente disarcionato da un altra macchina, l’incidente fu durissimo il mondo rimase a bocca aperta durante questo incidente, lo schianto fu così devastante ma era inevitabile a quella velocità era praticamente impossibile cercare di evitare uno scontro del genere.

Venne raggiunto subito dai soccorsi apparve in condizioni critiche che gli aveva provocato l’amputazione degli arti inferiori rischio di morire dissanguato, si ritrovò in una condizione psicologica dove qualsiasi altro essere umano avrebbe chiaramente mollato diventando anche depresso ma lui non ha mollato le parole che ha detto quando è stato amputato sono state quando ho avuto il tragico incidente la prima cosa che ho guardato non sono gli arti che ho perso ma quelli che avevo ancora a disposizione, dopo essersi ripreso da questo incidente fatale ha deciso di praticare sempre sport è quindi si è dato all’ handbike diventandone un campione assoluto oltre a reputarlo un grande atleta il suo atteggiamento positivo lo ha portato anche a concorrere nelle discipline paralimpiche con grandi risultati.
Ha praticamente vinto quello che un buon atleta poteva vincere in tante discipline,
Purtroppo il 19 giugno di questo 2020 il buon alex mentre si allenava quotidianamente si scontra frontalmente contro un Camion, lo scontro come il primo avvenuto nel 2001 è stato durissimo a soccorrere immediatamente per fortuna c’era un medico e la moglie Daniela che lo ha tenuto sveglio incoraggiandolo,grazie forse alla moglie il grande zanardi non è morto sul colpo.

Oggi 4 luglio 2020 le sue condizioni restano stabili ma rimane in prognosi riservata riprendersi stavolta sembra troppo difficile ci vuole davvero un vero miracolo, nella sua camera di ospedale la madre del campione insieme alla moglie e al figlio non lo lasciano un secondo da solo, scrivendo queste frasi mi viene un sussulto pur non conoscendolo ho un dispiacere immenso nel cuore perché lo ritengo un campione assoluto di cui tutti dovremmo prendere esempio.
