Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first film in a quadrilogy, probably among the most famous in the world that sees Henry Indiana Jones, professor and teacher of archeology, lover of adventures at the limit to find archaeological finds of fundamental importance to humanity and to keep them safe from potential treasure hunters.

In the first chapter, the Indian professor is charged by the American Intelligence with finding the Ark of the Covenant, a treasure chest that holds the fragments of the tables of the ten Commandments, and with extraordinary powers. Hitler is desperate for the Ark and has hired Indiana's enemy archaeologist, his name is Belloq, and they are close to his discovery in Egypt.

Thanks to a medallion owned by Marion Ravenwood, daughter of his friend Abner, with whom he had an affair in the past, Indiana moved to Egypt with Marion and here he found the help of his friend Sallah, who helped him enter in the excavations of the Germans and with the help of the medallion they succeed in discovering the exact location of the Ark of the Covenant.

During the extraction of the Indian archaeological treasure and the group of helpers are discovered by the Germans who come into possession of the Lost Ark and take Marion hostage, transporting the precious booty on a German submarine to the Island of Crete. Here Belloq and the German soldiers, having foiled yet another Indiana Jones assault, finally open the Ark and are fatally killed by his power.

The Ark returns to Washington and is answered in a secret intelligence warehouse while Marion and Indiana fall in love again.

Beautiful story of adventure created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, surely creating one of the most famous characters of the cinema era, Indiana Jones, masterfully played by Harrison Ford. The film is intrinsic to adventure, history, love, friendship, enemies, death and life. In short, it has all the elements that are useful for a great story as it is and it is surprising how 30 years later it is still a reference for the new generations.

The soundtrack was magically written by John Williams and is one of those music that you fall in love with and keep humming without ever getting tired. Beautiful the scenographies scattered in the various Continents always very detailed and cured, with breathtaking panoramas that invite you to take part in the scenes of the film.

I loved Indiana Jones as a child because he always gave me that sense of adventure I was looking for and how many times I played pretending to have a whip attached to my belt and a cowboy hat on my head ... Beautiful!

Indiana Jones e I predatori dell'arca perduta è il primo film di una quadrilogia, probabilmente tra le più famose al mondo che vede come protagonista Henry Indiana Jones, professore ed insegnanti di archeologia, amante delle avventure al limite pur di trovare reperti archeologici di fondamentale importanza per l'umanità e di tenerle al sicuro da possibili cacciatore di tesori.

Nel primo capitolo il professore Indiana è incaricato dall'Intelligence americana al ritrovamento dell'Arca dell'Alleanza, uno scrigno che custodisce i frammenti delle tavole dei dieci Comandamenti, e dai poteri straordinari. Hitler è alla disperata ricerca dell'Arca ed ha assoldato il nemico archeologo di Indiana, il suo nome è Belloq, e sono vicini al suo ritrovamento in Egitto.

Grazie ad un medaglione posseduto da Marion Ravenwood, figlia del suo amico Abner, con la quale ha avuto una relazione in passato, Indiana si trasferisce in Egitto assieme a Marion e qui trova l'aiuto del suo amico Sallah, il quale lo aiuta ad entrare nei scavi dei tedeschi e con l'aiuto del medaglione riescono a scoprire l'esatta locazione dell'Arca dell'Alleanza.

Durante l'estrazione del tesoro archeologico Indiana ed il gruppo di aiutanti sono scoperti dai tedeschi che entrano in possesso dell'Arca Perduta e prendono in ostaggio Marion, trasportando il prezioso bottino su un sommergibile tedesco verso l'Isola di Creta. Qui Belloq ed i soldati tedeschi, dopo aver sventato l'ennesimo assalto di Indiana Jones, aprono finalmente l'Arca e vengono fatalmente uccisi dal suo potere.

L'Arca torna a Washington ed è risposta in un magazzino segreto dell'intelligence mentre Marion ed Indiana s'innamoreranno nuovamente.

Bellissima storia di avventura quella creata da George Lucas e Steven Spielberg, creando sicuramente uno tra i personaggi più famosi dell'era cinematografica, Indiana Jones, interpretato magistralmente da Harrison Ford. La pellicola è intrinseca di avventura, storia, amore, amicizia, nemici, morte e vita. Ha insomma tutti gli elementi utili per una grande storia quale è ed è sorprendente come a distanza di 30 anni sia ancora un riferimento per le nuove generazioni.

La colonna sonora è stato magicamente scritta da John Williams ed è una di quelle musiche di cui t'innamori e continui a canticchiare senza mai stancarti. Bellissime le scenografie sparse nei vari Continenti sempre molto dettagliate e curate, con panoramiche mozzafiato che t'invogliano a prendere parte alle scene del film.

Io ho adorato Indiana Jones sin da bambino perché mi ha sempre dato quel senso di avventura che cercavo e quante volte ho giocato fingendo di avere una frusta attaccata alla cinta ed un cappello alla cowboys in testa... Bellissimo!
