Saxon's Survival Hour #23! Survival Ammo

Today's excerpt begins on page 113 of Survivor Vol 1.

Kurt Saxon thought civilization would have collapsed by now.
He spent the majority of his life collecting knowledge of home based business.
His goal was for all his readers to survive at a more comfortable level than those that were more improvident.

He knew the importance of communicating at a level folks could understand.
Most of what he has compiled for our benefit can be easily understood by everybody.

He also includes a mild sense of humor.

The books were printed in the 80's but he was a writer as far back as the 60's.

It's good stuff, I've considered picking up some of the old lee hand-presses, the problem is that what we have seen ever since the Obama shortages is that the primers and such sells out first.

Yes, items requiring a high degree of factory input will disappear first.
I hoard bic lighters and zigzag papers, myself.
They said lighters disappeared first in Bosnia.

That's good thinking. I recently moved and when I did I put all the lighters I rounded up in a gallon zip lock and it is about half full. I should get more though. A few years back I sent away for an entire case of Raw brand rolling tubes from Europe in hopes of selling them here but that didn't work out so I still have almost an entire case of those.

My store has inventory stacking up, too.
I need a new salesperson.

I've been ordering them online 50 at a time.
My goal is to keep a lifetime supply on hand of nearly everything I consume, but I haven't figured out how to eat it and have it.

I think it's not too practical to try, best to try to get a few months or a years supply. You don't want to be using 50 year old toilet paper in 50 years. You just need enough to last through a supply disruption. If you are diligent you can get things like ammo or TP even in the midst of severe shortages so you just need enough on hand to last you until you until you are lucky to find some. I have a whole closet full of toilet paper and paper towels and it takes up a lot of space but it's really only enough for 6 months or so, a lifetime supply of TP would take up the whole house!
There was a guy on Steemit who actually ate the survival food for an entire month and reported his experiences, it was interesting.
