Ice days
The weather here is insanely cold these past days; I don't think I ever felt this cold at home. 1ºC in the morning is probably considered warm in snome regions, but not here at all. So might as well revisit some of my photos from Iceland for this #monomad challenge.
It was way colder here for sure; the country's name is well suited. Cold, but beautiful. The white covered landscape is special; and the fact that most of the coutry is raw nature just add to its beauty. From Pingvellir national park, where the oldest parliament of Europe existed...
... to Gulfoss, the majestic waterfall, you can easily spend the day exploring and admiring the wilderness.
Icelandic horses are keen to welcome visitors as well. They have the coolest hairstyle ever!
Although it would be madness to try and swim in the beaches of the south shore in winter time, they are worth a visit as well.
And when you're done enjoying all the amazing nature Iceland has to offer... you can try a different kind of nature! The SPA type 😉 Blue Lagoon is a well known destination, and if you're looking for a place to relax, it's definitely a good way to finish the day!
