Maly is a 12-year-old girl who lives with her mother and father in the lands of Tapipa, a town located in the heat of the lands of Barlovento in the state of Miranda. His father works every day and only comes at night so he is almost always with his mother.

Maly es una niña de 12 años que vive junto a su madre y su padre en las tierras de Tapipa, pueblo que se encuentra en el calor de las tierras de Barlovento del estado Miranda. Su padre trabaja todos los días y solo llega en la noche así que casi siempre está junto a su madre.

One day while Maly was playing at home with the ball, he kicked very hard and it ended up falling to the back of the house, where there is a field that scares him. He runs to look for the ball to return quickly and when he grabs it he heard how several old voices welcomed him adding a caress on his face through a slight draft of air.

Un día mientras Maly jugaba en su casa con la pelota, pateó muy fuerte y esta termino cayendo al fondo de la casa lugar donde se encuentra un terreno que le da mucho miedo. Sale corriendo a buscar la pelota para regresar rápido y cuando la agarra escucho como varias voces ancianas le dieron la bienvenida sumando una acaricia en su rostro por medio de una leve corriente de aire.

Maly, at the beginning, was very afraid, but those voices were talking until they explained to her that they were her family ancestors, who decided to stay with Mother Earth in the trees that they themselves were planting at the bottom of this great family home.

Maly, al comienzo tenía mucho temor, pero aquellas voces fueron hablando hasta explicarle que eran sus familiares antepasados, los cuales, decidieron quedarse junto a la madre tierra en los árboles que ellos mismo fueron plantando en el fondo de esta gran casa familiar.

A mango tree, an avocado tree, a banana tree, and the last puma gas were Maly's best friends from that day, as soon as he came home from school he ran out to play with the old trees, with them he played hide and seek, delighted , the ball, with its incredible branches, they raised it to the heights of its fruits, to give it the best, the juiciest, fresh and tasty; they were the happiest days for Maly.

Un árbol de mango, uno de aguacate, otro de cambur, y el ultimo de puma gas fueron sus mejores amigos de Maly desde aquel día, apenas llegaba de clases salía corriendo a jugar con los árboles ancianos, con ellos jugaba a la escondida, encantado, la pelota, con sus increíbles ramas lo subían por las alturas de sus frutos, para obsequiarle los mejores, los más jugosos, frescos y sabrosos; eran los días más felices para Maly.

One day before going to play in the background, Maly answered her mother very badly, this hand wanted to do the homework and that is why she raised her voice to her mother, when she came out in the background none of her past antecedents wanted to speak to her. Maly tried to run around holding on to its branches but they did not respond, the little one got very sad so he went home.

Un día antes de ir a jugar al fondo, Maly le contesto muy mal a su mamá, este mano quería hacer la tarea y por eso le alzó la voz a su madre, cuando salió al fondo ninguno de sus ante pasados quiso hablarle. Maly intento corretear agarrado de sus ramas pero estos nada que respondían, el pequeño se puso muy triste así que se fue para su casa.

The days passed and the trees did not respond, the sadness in Maly abounded, she no longer knew what to do, her mother who still had not spoken to her since that day she answered her wrong, she could notice her sadness, she could not resist so she came singing to her with a beautiful melody all the tasks she had to do so as not to feel bored. They both laughed and started running around the house to the point of doing homework together.

Pasaron los días y los árboles nada que respondían, la tristeza en Maly abundaba, ya no sabía que hacer, su mamá que aún no le hablaba desde aquel día que le contesto mal, pudo notar su tristeza, no pudo resistirse así que se acercó cantándole con una hermosa melodía todas las tareas que tenía que podía hacer para no sentirse aburrida. Ambas se echaron a reír y empezaron a corretear por toda la casa hasta llegar al punto de ponerse hacer la tarea juntos.

The next day Maly sadly looked at the back after arriving from class and did not hear anything, when she returned to the living room of her house a current of air dragged her towards the center of the trees, Maly was very excited to hear it again And without thinking, she asked her, where were they? They told her that they were very sad the day she answered her mother very badly, so they decided not to speak to her until she apologized to her mother.

Al otro día Maly después de llegar de clases se asomo tristemente hacia al fondo y no escuchó nada, cuando se devolvió a la sala de su casa una corriente de aire la arrastró hacia el centro de los árboles, Maly estaba muy emocionado por volver a escucharlo y sin pensarlo le pregunto ¿En donde estaban?, ellos le comentaron que se pusieron muy triste el día que élla le contesto muy mal a su madre, así que decidieron no hablarle hasta que le pidiera disculpa a su mamá.

Maly understood the lesson of her ancestors and from that day on she began to pay more attention to her mother, to fulfill the tasks and make the most of her time playing with the trees or rather her ancient ancestors.

Maly entendió la lección de sus ancestros y desde ese día empezó hacerle más caso a su mamá, a cumplir con las tareas y aprovechar al máximo el tiempo de juego con los árboles o mejor dicho sus antiguos ancestros.
