This is my entry for the #monomad challenge 16th, by @morenow

Dicen que los ojos son el espejo del alma, pero cuando observo con atención estos ojos veo más que eso. Veo un universo entero con millones de galaxias, uno que mi subconsciente me dice que conozco pero que con cada año de vida voy olvidando irremediablemente. Más que un universo podríamos llamarlo una dimensión, una donde no existe la maldad, donde todo es alegría, paz, amor, vida, una que nuestro cerebro humano bajo esta armadura de carnes y huesos no podría entender de ninguna manera, pero que sabemos que existe cuando miramos con atención los ojos de un bebé.

They say that the eyes are the mirror of the soul, but when I look closely at these eyes I see more than that. I see an entire universe with millions of galaxies, one that my subconscious tells me that I know but that with each year of life I hopelessly forget. More than a universe we could call it a dimension, one where evil does not exist, where everything is joy, peace, love, life, one that our human brain under this armor of flesh and bones could not understand in any way, but that we know that it exists when we look closely into the eyes of a baby.

La inocencia en estado puro, llenos de amor, crean en nosotros una emoción difícil de explicar, activan un instinto que yacía dormido cuando se es primerizo. Deseamos siempre lo mejor para estas nuevas criaturas, quisiéramos darles un mundo diferente, una vida diferente, pero la realidad golpea sin avisar lamentablemente.

Innocence in its purest form, full of love, creates in us an emotion that is difficult to explain, they activate an instinct that was asleep when one is a first time. We always wish the best for these new creatures, we would like to give them a different world, a different life, but reality hits without warning unfortunately.

Aun así, la risa y la alegría que podamos darles lo compensa todo, y por increíble que parezca, el mayor juguete de un bebé es el ser que más quiere, y los mejores juguetes son sus seres queridos.

Even so, the laughter and joy that we can give them makes up for everything, and incredible as it may seem, a baby's greatest toy is the one he loves the most, and the best toys are his loved ones.
