A small universe in my backyard, my entry to today's Monomad challenge.
Sometimes I feel bored, without much desire to do things as if I were depressed, but in reality it is nothing like that, the truth is that I feel this way because I haven't gone out almost to the street and as I have always been a street person I feel limited, I have already mentioned that I don't go out because of the excess of heat that hurts me, and instead I have to be happy with what I can do in the house, but when it comes to macro photography that doesn't matter, an unexplored universe awaits me in the backyard of the house.
The last few days I have been busy with different things and I haven't really been taking pictures, but a week ago I took these pictures that I haven't had time to edit, today I want them to be part of my entry to today's #Monomad challenge, they are simple images that sometimes we forget to look at.
For me it's always important to practice even when you already master a technique, and I'm not going to lie, I really like natural light, but I also love to use artificial light in my pictures, this time I didn't want a completely dark background as I almost always do, I wanted everything to be seen, so the flash light was just to fill in a little, I had to let my ISO go up to 400, and it's not much to be honest.
This time I concentrated on the flower buds of a plant called maravilla, and I didn't really have to edit much because from the beginning the images looked pretty good, a bit underexposed as usual, but I mentioned that too, I prefer to work like that than with burnt highlights.
For all those who want to create different scenarios, the light of sunrise is ideal for this type of photography, the light filtered through the leaves of the trees helps us to create a sense of depth of field, and I say sunrise because it is the time when there is almost no wind and we can better adjust our shutter speed, it is not always necessary to use flash light, but if you need it, don't hesitate to use it.
