La seducción es el arte de persuadir a alguien con el fin de modificar su opinión o hacerle adoptar un determinado comportamiento. Se emplea con frecuencia en el ámbito del amor y del romance. El término puede tener una connotación positiva o negativa, según se considere la mayor o menor cantidad de engaño incluido en el acto. La raíz latina es "seducere", que significa "extraviar".

Uno de los primeros autores y estudiosos del tema, fue el poeta romano Ovidio, quien publicaría en los inicios de la cristiandad su poema Ars Amandi (Arte de amar), donde ofrecía consejos sobre cómo realizar conquistas amorosas. Posteriormente, obtendrían gran popularidad obras como el Diario de un seductor del filósofo y teólogo danés Søren Kierkegaard, entre muchas otras.

A lo largo de la historia, grandes personajes de la política, el arte, la literatura, el cine y los negocios han sido conocidos por sus habilidades seductoras; entre los que destacan la reina Cleopatra, el aventurero e historiador veneciano Giacomo Casanova, el pintor Pablo Picasso, los escritores Lord Byron, George Bernard Shaw y Frank Harris, el actor Rodolfo Valentino, entre otros.

Esta imagen fue tomada en el balcón de mi apartamento durante una corta e improvisada sesión fotográfica. Posteriormente, la modifiqué haciendo uso de la aplicación PicsArt, empleando una superposición de filtros, comenzando con un filtro del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) con la finalidad de ampliar los tonos de la imagen original, y posteriormente un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro.

The term can have a positive or negative connotation, depending on whether the greater or lesser amount of deception included in the act is considered. The Latin root is "seducere"; which means "mislead".

One of the first authors and scholars on the subject was the Roman poet Ovid, who published his poem Ars Amandi (Art of Loving) at the beginning of Christianity, where he offered advice on how to make conquests of love. Subsequently, works such as the Diary of a Seducer of the Danish philosopher and theologian Søren Kierkegaard, among many others, would gain great popularity.

Throughout history, great figures in politics, art, literature, film and business have been known for their seductive abilities; among which stand out Queen Cleopatra, the Venetian adventurer and historian Giacomo Casanova, the painter Pablo Picasso, the writers Lord Byron, George Bernard Shaw and Frank Harris, the actor Rodolfo Valentino, among others.

This image was taken on the balcony of my apartment during a short and impromptu photo shoot. Later, I modified it using the PicsArt application, using a filter overlay, starting with a filter of the HDR (High Dynamic Range) type in order to expand the tones of the original image, and later a simple Black & White filter.
