The Power of Water - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

There is one unique village in the central region of Bulgaria that everyone should visit or at least be aware of. It is dedicated to preserving old traditions, crafts and history. It is called Etar and is located near the city of Gabrovo. Here in a beautiful way is harnessed the power of water, one of the main elements on our earth.

Today I present to you few long-exposure photographs I created there using my tripod and big black Canon camera :)))

You could find out more out this unique place, called "Etar Architectural-Ethnographic Complex" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etar_Architectural-Ethnographic_Complex

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

:)
Give it at least a half a day, as there you could buy a freshly baked special bread, the restaurants are great and each of the artisans there offers amazing stuff. Plenty of things to photograph, of course!

We went to my parents home town where they were born and married before migrating to Australia the town was Guardia Sanframondi here I met my uncles, aunties and cousins a beautiful little town high on the mountains where they have all there vineyards. Then we took a trip to see Rome and over to see Tuscany.

Here is the link if you like to take a look my photography wasn't so good then and only had a cheap phone unfortunately.
