Let's hope the new air doesn't smell worse than the air of the old year.
If so, we should try to clean the air all together 🙂

Hahaha, you joke, but I so wish that we could clean all of the air worldwide.
People started a class action lawsuit about getting sick from the mines close to them and they won the case.
Another evil is the old powerstations that burn tons of coal and I look forward to the day that they don't exist anymore.
South Africa is now very active in the natural electricity generation fields, such as wind farms and Solar energy. Let's hope that it continues to grow.

Cheers and thanks!

A complete lockdown worldwide for much longer than the first lockdown we had might be able to clean a lot, I believe.

Yes, wind and solar energy is growing slowly. Let's hope it continues to grow.

Totally agreed, but everyone here is screaming about lost income and profits.
Alcohol sales are banned, hotel occupation is zero, small businesses close their doors and even the big companies are cutting their staff numbers. I cannot even imagine the economic waste that another 6 months lockdown will do worldwide.
The argument is that life is more important than economics, but what is life if you have nothing to eat?

I think that all coal fired entities will be gone still in our lifetime my friend!

Cheers and thanks!

I think I am a bit unfair because I have a job which I can't lose, but I think after the end of the pandemic or when all have got the vaccine the economy will grow and everybody will be needed again - more work than before ... but that's only the thinking of somebody who don't has much ideas about economics.

I'm living on a continent which might be able to feed Africa with the food we throw away.

Yes, it is great to have secure employment and and you are right that there will be increased work loads. But many are now working from home on the internet and I think that it will remain so after the lockdown.
Of course the estate agents face giant losses, as offices will become vacant.

So amazing always, as there are dire hunger situations all over and yet, people can throw food away. This world needs a wake up call.

Cheers and thanks!

There will always be the ones who win and the ones who lose.

The leftovers from our company cantina have always been collected from local farmers for their pigs, but since the law changed not even giving such food to animals is allowed anymore.

So true and that's why so many people fear change. Covid is changing life and work habits all over the world by force.
We are going to do a "sanitize" on the inside of our car a little later today, as the virus can be transferred by touch and we are all over the place.

I cannot quite undestand that rule, as yes, they are aware that the food might be contaminated, but the farmers can simply boil the food before giving it to the pigs.

Cheers and thanks.
